Actually, that Tunny thing was in the Berkeley production at one point; I've "seen" it done with Matt Caplan around October... However, that part wasn't there when I actually saw it the last weekend.

ETA: Really crappy video proof

that video is some one recording off there computer screen. they are recording part of the bootleg dvd that got released on the internet

According to Gerard's Twitter, he's doing "Too Much Too Soon" tonight. So, either Theo's out or Theo's just not doing that song tonight. Can't wait to read your review, Tanya.

eek? me? lol.

It was ok. Really missed Tony and Theo, but Gerard in Theo's part and Joshua Toback in Tony's part did a good job. Gallagher's head mike went out during Boulevard of Broken Dreams, so a stagehand came out and gave him a mike while lying on the bed, so instead of playing the guitar, he had to hold the mike. Felt bad about, he does a good job on that song with the guitar. I like the dress change that they do with Rebecca during the club number now, but it was weird that the dress was off, then on, then off again so quickly. Liked the change with the giant florescent lights for the office scene, and it was ok that they went back to the Rock and Roll Girlfriend version that they did of the song from Berkeley. I think it made it clearer that she had found a new kick-ass guy. Esper was on fire tonight. He almost made me cry during Novacaine. I just love that entire sequence. They also did Good Riddance. First time I've seen that. They sounded great, but I'm still not sure about that for the encore. All in all, I'm glad I'm going to see it again. Well, actually, twice again. lol.

Ha! The Ny Press is our alternative rag here. I stopped reading it years ago. It's always self-righteous drivel. Too clever to live crap.

I need a ticket for the 20th. Looks like I'll just be hanging around the venue that day. I'm going ticket or no ticket just won't see the show again.

I might end up doing the same thing. I haven't decided, though. It all depends on if I have to work that day, or the day after, and if I'll have the money to get there on the 20th, go back upstate, and then come back again on the 23rd for the show again.

Thanks for posting that Justin. :) The 'featuring Green Day' part makes me wonder which song/s and what or if the 'never before recorded' song is on there.

If memory serves me I read somewhere or heard that Green Day did all the music, like the actors from the musical sang the songs but Green Day did all the instrumental work, hence the Featuring Green Day on the CD cover

'featuring Green Day' is probably only referencing to Green Day playing the instruments, and I think the never before recorded song is When It's Time, or that would be logical since it's in the musical and never recorded before (unless you count HLAHG as recording (or some never published recordins)). I think :)

Question:

I'm going to see the 2pm show on the 17th...if I want the cast to sign my playbill, where should I hang out? Would I have more luck before or after the show? :)

I've seen them hangout before the show, but I think they have an hour call time. So if the show starts at 2, that means that they have to be at the theater at 1:00.

But, they are pretty mellow after the show and that is probably the best time to get autographs.

It was really mellow last night. The theater was no where full. Seats in the balcony and the mezzanine where pretty empty.

Thank you ALL for the love! My fingers are crossed, it was a labor of love, I've been hard at work on it since the first day it was announced, and its quite a relief to have it finished. Now the hardest part, waiting for the results!
