GDM
Anja,Broadway tickets are pretty expensive. I'm going to the show twice, once I'm sitting in the Mezzanine (with J'net!) and then I got a Row A balcony seat for $62.00. And don't forget to factor in the Euro, you'll pay a little less. Of course, I hope to see the show a second time, if I don't fall out of my nosebleed balcony seat. I'm gonna get dizzy! That theater is high, though personally, I actually like sitting in the Mezzanine or Balcony in theater in large theaters anyway. But still, Broadway is hella expensive...lots of wicked overhead and such.

It's still pretty expensive though but considering it's Green Day... And true, converted into euros it's like half as much. If only New York was around the corner. Hanner
considering that Mezzanine Rows Q-R and Balcony Rows A-F are the same price, which would be better seats? im guessing Balcony Row D center is better right?
incendiary girl
that's true, Daily Show is another great option! And that's great news about Billy Elliot, I already have a Playbill account, I must have missed their email about that special. Do you know what dates that offer is good for?The Colbert Report usually releases extra tickets online the day before (and of) the actual taping. You just have to be vigilant. They are usually released between 10am and 6pm ET. Also, they give out more tickets than seating allows because some of their audience usually doesn't show up. Being at the front of the stand-by line gives you good odds if there isn't a major band/actor there that day. I had some friends in town awhile back and they would have been crushed if they didn't make it to Colbert. I had to make it happen or it would have been a very sad day. Fortunately, it all worked out. I'm sure it will for you as well! Just FYI: The show can run later than the web site indicates. If you're planning to see a Broadway show that night, you could be cutting it close if they decide to film multiple "episodes" in one day. That happened to us. It was great because we didn't have plans after the show and got two tapings + a bonus segment of "The Word", but some people were checking their watches every 5 minutes. Hope you get to see the show!

With muscial versions of songs from both American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown? :| I really hope so, that'd be amazing
