J'net
When I talked to Johnny on Friday, he said that they'll start rehearsals in mid-February.Yes, and they've already started reworking some of the numbers that only involve a few cast members. elanorelle72
When I talked to Johnny on Friday, he said that they'll start rehearsals in mid-February. He's really excited to be back on Broadway. FYI: they started workshops for "American Idiot" back in Summer 2008 so it's come a long way since then especially for some of the actors who have been attached to it since then (Johnny, Brian, Matt, Libby... to name a few) so yay! for this finally make it to Broadway.i can't wait to hear the scoops as times go on! This play must be getting alot of word there! This is only what people dream of....Green Day have acheived something I Think that happens with the greats...famous composers over the century...Mozart...Rosinni have had their Opera Masterpieces....This is another one of those rare times...gives me tingles....200 years ago...the Classical operas where popular and cutting edge at the time and and this is cutting edge this time:) make one music lover ( me ) happy..I now bought a membership to the New Yorker in anticipation of advertisements and the Goings on About Town. and reviews Mum is happy and she wants me to get a membership too that way we can be excited together...She and I ,,,since I was 8 have been lovers of the stage and always have been up with what has been going in NYC all the time. Its her favourite city ,....She thinks this is a very special time for New York...she is 70 years old...

ParadoxAndPlaid
I'm really happy to hear that Tony Vincent will be playing St. Jimmy.Hunter and I are really hoping to be able to see it within the first week or so of opening.I've saved up alot. And I'm sure I have enough for tickets at least, but I'm still working on travel.the fact that it opens in the last few months I have left of High School is proving to be an obstacle.I hope it all works out and we meet some GDC people there! plaid ducky
Clarification: I'm somewhat confused on what can be posted and what can't. Audio taken from the musical can't, even if it's set in a video/slideshow, but video taken from the musical can...? Aren't those technically the same thing with the video being audio *and* video instead of just audio? Velocity
In that case, then, why are YouTube videos allowed? :/I think he meant you aren't allowed to post links for downloading audio or video. If you're just posting a youtube video it's okay because you're not downloading it.

plaid ducky
Well, see, I posted a link to a YouTube video that was actually a slideshow of production pictures with "Letterbomb" playing and J'net said that wasn't allowed... that's why I was confused... If it was a link to youtube, it would have been fine. Youtube is in the public domain - anyone can see it - so there's no reason not to post it here. If any of Green Day's or Berkeley Rep's management doesn't like it, they can have it removed from youtube. If what you posted was just a link to youtube, I'm sorry I removed it. Feel free to put it back if you still know where it is.
