Guest
Don't get sad until you hear back. Hopefully there will be good news! I'll try not to, but thanks
luvgirlcl
Your 19 years old spending your days on a computer making friends you'll never interact with in the world. sorry to be "sour" but there is a reality out there. you people take liking a band to an unnecessary level Man, if it bothers you so much, what are you doing here? I wouldn't waste my time going to a place/site I dislike. So, I think you are cordially invited to go through that big virtual door and avoid the headache And it's 'you're' not 'your'. Tripe
Sad news, but inevitable at some point. I am so glad they made it to a year!! Also glad that Billie Joe is coming back to end things with a bang. Wish it could have been ANY other weekend besides Easter weekend. Ya'll have fun! vla313
As Dec said, it's the end of an era. But we still have the tour to look forward to, and great memories. I'm just happy it CAME to Broadway, I remember when it was just out in Berkeley and worrying it would never come this way. And it had a year-long run, SO many new shows in this economy have closed in much less time, I'm thankful for it lasting this long. On a more practical note, it's kinda really annoying so many center orch seats are premium for closing. >_< And person in thread who's being annoying, we get it, you don't like the show. But the majority of us in this thread do, so can you leave us alone? The show introduced me to the band, to new friends, including people on this forum, and introduced a whole bunch of people to Broadway and theatre. You don't get a crossover like this very often, it's a rare and special thing. Also, it seems like the band, especially Billie, has had a blast working and being involved with the show, and have become inspired by the process, so...just chill. To the people who bought tickets for after the 24th, you'll definitely get your money back. This happens all the time when shows close or postpone or whatever. Just call wherever you bought the tickets from (I'm guessing telecharge, they're awesome) with your order information and explain to the operator what happened. They'll probably credit you and then let you rebook, if they haven't already returned your money. And plaid ducky, awesome chart of actors/characters, but you didn't include the old u/s who left! Or the Berkeley ones. lol /jk Edited March 10, 2011 by vla313

ManthonyChatt
Oh fuck off. I met my girlfriend on this website, and I've been to visit her on the other side of the world multiple times. Not to mention all the friends I've made who I've interacted with in the "real world" on several occasions as well. You think your opinion means anything to anyone here, or that you're even right? It's probably because most of us here hate assholes. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Boston
I'd love to go see it again for my birthday (April 17th), but that doesn't seem very likely. At least Beej is closing out the run, and it is going on tour. Its too bad that Esper and JGal couldn't have stuck around for two more months. ManthonyChatt
i'm not the one picking fights with people on a forum. i do get out and interact with the world, as does everyone on here. we're not constantly cooped up inside posting on here - but when something happens, we discuss it. so how about YOU face the reality out there, and stop being a little prat spouting shit to everyone. oh go fuck yourself. you and every other cunt are the ones that jumped on ME picking this fight because of what i posted. dont like what it said, THEN DONT FUCKING SAY ANYTHING. FUCK
luvgirlcl
On a lighter and funnier note, these past few days I've been thoroughly entertained by Gerard's tweets about 'Steve'. I can't be the only one, right?

I've been snooping around online And it turns out that Gallagher's show only has a matinee on Sundays, which opens the possibility of him going as an audience member to the last show. Esper's will be on previews and apparently has a show at 7PM that day, but who knows...I think it'd be lovely to have as many former members as possible on the audience that night
M3G4N
It's a shame it's closing, but it had to happen sometime. Unfortunately, the theater doesn't care about people who haven't gotten to see it yet. It's a matter of ticket sales, and if they're not making enough money, they have to close. They can't just wait it out until summer in hopes that it will go back up. To be honest, I think all the performances Billie did were detrimental to the show's future. He put so much into the role that it just seemed a little flat after he left. But in any case, I'm going to try and snag some tickets for the last few weeks and hopefully see it one last time! jos_whatsername
god i almost started crying when i read this on facebook today because i'm gonna stay in new york for 4 weeks this summer and i was SO looking foward to watching the musical multiple times and participating in multile musical-related things since the touring starts in fall, i thought they'd at least continue with it during the summertime.
