I Had NO FUCKING CLUE that AA seats were THAT fucking close to the stage. My knees were literally four inches from the criss-crossed steel lining the front of the stage. Jesus fuck. Billie was amazing. As Johnny was hamming it up, taking WAYYY longer than usual to get right into St Jimmy, my heart started pounding so hard I felt like I actually was on some of that hard shit that Jimmy gets Jesus hooked on, haha. It was a bit scary, actually. And then I screamed so loud when he first appeared during St Jimmy that my voice seriously cracked and petered out like a girl in a bad horror flick, LMAO. I gave him this after the show and he took it: ((The gun with the BANG sign attached is actually a pin/brooch that I got as a sort of thank you when I purchased the same thing in a necklace format ... I posted about the necklaces here on GDC and the girl who creates them made a HUGE load of money afterwards, haha! She was so happy she included the pin/brooch along with the necklace I ordered myself! Anyway, getting off track here ... Oh! I wrapped up the micro letter like a scroll around the stem of the artificial rose and tied it with a black satin ribbon.)) When I handed the rose to Billie, I was so shocked as to how close I was to him that I didn't even speak, I couldn't. I didn't even THINK of speaking, I was so stricken. He took the rose, though, ((And he looked directly at the BANG! gun while he took it!)) And that's all that matters. Hopefully he read the letter! ; And his hand MAY have brushed mine when he took the rose, but again, I wasn't fully there, so I don't know if I imagined it or not. I was just ... Gone. Hahaaa. After the show I somehow managed to get a spot right on the barrier outside the stage doors, ((NOFUCKINGIDEAHOWIMANAGEDTHAT,)) But I didn't get an autograph or the chance to speak to Billie, as I was sort of squished into the corner and he skipped over those that were squished into the corners, on both barrier sides. It's okay, though, because I said everything I wanted to say to him in the micro letter I wrote. Which, again, I hope he read. ^^;;; EEEEEEEEE. And I got another chance to speak to Rebecca and she said she remembered me! O___O OMG. I held out one of the pink 'LOVE HAPPENED HERE ON May 5' sheets of paper I got that the cast threw all about during the show, and she signed it for me, and I was like, 'Rebecca! Do you remember me?' And she replied, 'Yes, I do! How are you?!' And I was like, 'I'm good, you were so fantastic tonight!' And she was like, 'Thank you so much', and I was so happy. ANNNNNNDDDDD I was standing right beside Isabel. and NoVaCaInE! from here on GDC and didn't even know it until Isabel suddenly interuppted my terrible singing, ((Me and the other side of the barrier were having a sort of GD singalong, LOL,)) And was like, 'Are you Mallory Maloney from GDC ...?' And I was like 'YES I AM! =DDD' And she's like, 'I'm Isabel!' And Novacaine AKA Darren was like, 'And I'm Novacaine! Darren. Well, you know, with a big N and then a small O and then ... You know ...' And I was like 'OH MY GOD I WAS STANDING RIGHT BESIDE YOU GUYS AND DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THE WHOLE TIME' and I had no clue anyone from GDC was gonna be there 'cause I hadn't been on here for like five days prior, so yeah. o_o; But it was stellar none the less! And everyone I saw up close was just as gorgeous as they appear in photos and videos online. Billie, of course, but I already knew that, and Rebecca, and Johnny, and Stark, and Esper, and the entire fucking cast, they'e all SO FUCKING GORGEOUS, they're perfect. Same with Isabel and Darren. They were both seriously fucking attractive! ((Sorry for any weirdness, guys! Just speakin' the truth. )) AND OH MY GOD. Who else noticed that Rebecca has lost a whole bunch of weight?! I WAS SUPER FUCKING JEALOUS. She totally didn't need to lose an ounce, but she did, and she looks just fucking fantastic. I wanted to scoop her up and huggle her like a doll everytime I looked at her onstage, LOL. Johnny seemed skinnier, too! And of course, Billie. Did I ever feel like a fatty after seeing all those skinny bodies, shit. I totally pigged out the entire NYC trip, sooo yeah. That was a bit of a self-image shatterer. Bwahahaha ... What else ... Fuck, IDK. It was just amaizng seeing the show again, with Billie, and so Goddamn close. I shook and cried and grinned my face off the entire show. AND BILLIE LOOKED RIGHT AT ME DURING ST JIMMY I ALMOST FORGOT! FUCK. It was only for about a second, a half second maybe, but it was a DEFINITE look. Amazing, amazing. Here's a shot of all the things I collected that were thrown from the stage! The fake rose petals are from The Death Of St Jimmy, which is probably my favourite part of the entire fucking musical, and of course the pink slips and the newspaper/phonebook pages, AND OH MY FUCKING GOD MY DAD GRABBED THE PLASTIC BAG THAT JOHNNY DUMPS THE DRUGS OUT OF AFTER ST JIMMY GIVES 'EM TO HIM. S'yeah, I have a plastic drug baggie that graced the hands of both Billie Joe and John Gallagher Jr and previously contained theatrical crystal meth. FUCK. YES. And I smelt it and it smells just like the St James smells. Old building materials and sweat and excitement and chemical. I can't describe it. It's delicious, though. A friend of mine on facebook posted this last night: We met Dan Rad on the way into the theater. Got a pic. I told him to enjoy the show and he said "Cheers, you too." I'm going to another project in my quest to continue to Produce more life changing theatre. The project is called 'White Noise' and it is coming to bway soon. American Idiot has changed my life In many ways and I have never been apart of something so meaningful. The fans are incredible and so loving. Let's enjoy our last weeks!!! I truly believe in provoking change in our world today.'White Noise' is about racism and hatred in our country and what happens when we dont Do something about it. American Idiot provokes us to change as well. As much as I appreciate all theatre, it is time to usher in new age Broadway theatre that deals with real issues.
