In general, how are Green Day's concerts?

Green Day played the ACC last time in Toronto, and Brintey Spears (I didn't see her, god no) was here a few days ago, and the prices for floor "seats" were like $300. I really want to see Green Day, they put on a hell of a show, but will it really cost that much? Plus I want some of my friends to come, and they're not as huge of fans that would pay "any price" to see them. I dont wanna pay over 100 bucks, and I'd like floor seats, This could be a problem. If anyone saw them in Toronto last tour, could you help me out here?

Ticket prices change per venue per band.

It's all about marketing, and trying to get the most people to come as possible.

Venues will try and milk as much money out of a person as possible when booking people.

EXAMPLE: Elton John + Billy Joel in Ottawa June 1st. Cheapest tickets were $100, and the building sold out in 5 minutes.

Bob Dylan in December. Cheapest tickets were $20, and he only had 2500 people.

The building has to offer the band's tour manager a certain amount of money in order to get the person to perform, and then works out a deal with the manager about ticket prices etc, so the building can make the money back, and also help pay for hosting the artist. Bigger bands definitely cost more, just as smaller cost less. But then sometimes there are greedy bands (ie Aerosmith) who just jack up prices no matter what the cost is to get them to play.

That's what I'm afraid of too. Spice Girls was expensive too, but could it be that them and Britney and stuff only cost so much because they were like comeback/never again type deals?

Well, everyone who's seen Bullet In A Bible would know that! lol

I haven't been to one, but judging from BIAB and GDC members' opinion, it seems great. I really want to go to one.

That's my goal in life, is to go to one of their concerts. If I died the minute after the show was over, I think my life would be fulfilled.

I'll never get a chance to see them live while i'm living in argentina, they've been here only once, in 1998, but i was only 4...
