I think the Tubbies are opening tomorrow night's show. Just a guess. Or at least making an appearance.

You know, that makes perfect sense. Why would they get Kevin to rehearse with them and practice those songs from last year and drag out the FBHT drum set just to play two songs on Conan? It makes more sense that they're at least going to play as FBHT more than once in LA this week - even if they're not planning anything else for later.

Hahaha, I cannot wait to see this show. To be honest, I kind of like Billie's character as the Rev. a little more than I like him in GD :ninja: . I don't know what it is that makes me like him a little more as the Rev. though. But of course I still like Green Day, and I think it's great that they're up to their goofy antics at interviews. They especially seem to like screwing with Carson. Reminds me of when they were on TRL when Carson used to host it. Ah, Tre's goofyness on there is one for the recordbooks. lol.

Oh yeah :eyebrows:. The Rev onstage is an exaggerated version of Billie onstage, so it's concentrated Billie :D

Wonderful to hear about the Foxies and that Jesus joke made me laugh as did the interview details. Wonder if they'll air that?

In the Blunt mag scans there's a little bit about the FHT's that says fans that enjoyed the FHT sound can look forward to more. And Mike is quoted as saying "There's some good stuff in the pipeline from the Green Day trio. There's a lot of good music to come from FHT's and Green day" :D

:o Foxies! :woot: :woot: :woot:

My thoughts exaclty. That's so cool. Foxies are back

Ok, more recap. After a song ended, Billie asked if we wanted to hear a Jesus joke.

Billie: So why did Jesus never go to bars?

Mike: I don't know Billie! Why wouldn't Jesus go to bars?

Billie: Because he didn't want to get hammered and hungover!

The audience kinda laughed, and kinda oooohed. Haha!

And during the interview, Carson asked Billie about how to listen to the record and Billie was like "Well ya know, you can listen to it in your car and you can listen to.... *picks up CD and looks at song names on the back* maybe Murder City! Or something like that ya know.." It was funny and I hope it's aired!

Also, Carson asked what holds Green Day together. There was a long silence, and Tre says "Sperm." LOL! Then Billie leaned over and stuck in face in Tre's private area... And I'll leave the rest up to your imagination... haha

Oh my... :o:lol: That sounds awesome. So happy for you to be able to go! Boys know how to keep us entertained, don't they?

During the couch interview prior to the performance, Carson asked the guys about new bands that they liked, and Tre answered "Foxboro Hottubs", and then Carson replied (jokingly I originally thought) that they were going to be on Friday's show. So hopefully they do air both songs, which will definitely go down as two of the rowdiest late-night tv performances of all time.

They played eight songs total, so hopefully we get to see two per night.

The full setlist:

Know Your Enemy

Murder City

East Jesus Nowhere

21 Guns

21st Century Breakdown

The Static Age

Stop Drop and Roll

Mother Mary

Something very amazing happened at the Carson Daly taping today that nobody has mentioned.

Between Green Day songs, while the entire band was standing on stage waiting around, the sound system was playing a 'Green Day Megamix' of songs. During both 'Suffocate' and 'Church on Sunday,' Billie Joe played along on his own guitar and (during COS) sang a majority of the song (although you couldn't hear him because his microphone was off at the time).

Seriously BJA ...You remember how to play COS and Suffocate!? Why not add these two songs to the real setlist!? Amazing night!

carson does bend the rules a bit when it comes to certain bands...and i think GD is one of the ones he lets do whatever the fuck they want...so 2 songs a night isnt out of the question, just unlikely...but we can hope....

if i see foxboro on tv, ill be way stoked.

I told my friend to watch him because he was singing along with himself. That was very interesting to see.

It airs the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th.

Hahaha - I knew I was going to do that sooner or later! Since I don't watch TV, I get these two mixed up. I'm sure they would be horrified to know it .
