Laura33
The addition seems geared to further pushing Green Day into U2 territory. Billie Joe's apparently going to do less guitar playing and more frontman-ing on this tour. White will play first guitar and Matika will play second and sing high harmonies.do. not. want. amy_runs
Well, not really, they played the whole AI in some concerts toobut for a normal show, they will mix it up, or at least put the hits It's kinda sad that there will be no 2,000 light years away or Geek Stink BreathI really doubt that ALL the concerts will be 21stCBGood point. But how do you know there will be no 2,000 Light Years Away or GSB?
Guest Shangri-La
you gotta lotta link? Can't you just look him up? I don't think I'm supposed to post that here... or am i?
badwolf
Dude, I totally said that I had myspace-stalked him and one of his friends posted a funny picture of green day and his face peeking out from the side of the picture.I think that should confirm all suspicions about whether or not he's legit.i agree.Billie Joe isn't that impressive when it comes to playing guitar live but I still think it'd be weird if he went without it. What? Overall i think he's better live in playing guitar. He sings awesome live, but id say better on cd. But the guitar he plays even awesomer on stage. Anko
Maybe as he's getting older he's finding it harder to play? That's the only reason I could see why he'd do this. But it's not really a bad thing, but it would be different without him playing. Juan
Good point. But how do you know there will be no 2,000 Light Years Away or GSB?Past references.GSB was only played at the early shows of the AI tour, and wasn't played at all around mid 2004, until 2005and it only resurfaced in special close shows2000 light years away was seldom played in Encores, although played in some special occasions or whenever they felt like it, also The Grouch was played at some showsCan't you just look him up? I don't think I'm supposed to post that here... or am i?yeah, ok, I'ma look him upyou're right, not wise to post a personal myspace here

badwolf
He just runs around and strums...it's not hard.Id like to see you play better than him. It is hard to play the guitar, especially live. He doesnt just run around and strum! He does way more. Its not like he's gonna be still in one spot for the whole concert. Then it'll be boring. Maybe he's willing to get more theatrical, or something like that... But lets take into consideration that the fact of him playing less guitar is probably just a suposition by the person that wrote the article... Im just saying at their live show he doesn't do anything special. I have played guitar live...a lot. It's not that difficult if you know how to play. I agree, though, I want to see Billie playing a fair bit of guitar. It's just Billie. That's the only thing that disappointed me about the Foxboro Hot Tubs (and believe me, those shows were WONDERFUL experiences). I was just disappointed that Billie did not play guitar at all - and I was so looking forward to that.Anyway, I don't believe this author has any real insight into how much less guitar Billie will play, so I'm going to be optimistic and expect the best possible outcome.
