Jaymee!!
hello???britney spears anyone????Pfsht why have BritBrit when you can have the Jo Bros?!Common, a trio opening up for a trio; it just makes sense! In all honesty, I would love to see Blink open up for em. But it'll never happen. Or Kut U Up.ooooooooooooooor...since BJ had mentioned that he liked their stuff...The Fratellis. I love their stuff! Chad is Rad
I think either Alkaline Trio, Coheed and Cambria, or Say Anything should open for Green DayI never used to like Say Anything because of the cd ...Is a Real Boy, but now I completely love themIn Defense of the Genre is an amazing CD, my friend Bea taught me that oneI still think the best one would be Coheed and Cambria, but I doubt that would ever happen... crislostinvictory
I don't mean to sound like a dickhead... BUT... are you all serious mentioning bands like Coheed & Cambria? Paramore? Def Leppard? etc etc..These bands are boring generic-shitty-overplayed-KerrangTV crap.Green Day took Dillinger Four, Bouncing Souls, The Living End, NFG, The Riverdales and loads of other sweet bands on the road before.. So why the fuck would they take Coheed & Cambria ? That wouldn't work. At all. Def Leppard are like in their 60s and past it too.The only sensible bands mentioned in this thread have been great bands like Alkaline Trio, Bouncing Souls, The Living End. Fair play to the people who mentioned those bands because it seems most people on here are stook on planet Kerrang with shitty Elliot Minor and Go: Audio.Seriously though, go check out Dillinger Four, Bouncing Souls, The Living End, Broadway Calls. Just coz they aint plastered on TV and all over magazines doesn't mean they ain't good bands.I'm sure Green Day will bring somebody good, not some fly off the wall overnight trend band.I personally think it'll be Broadway Calls or Bouncing Souls or Living With Lions or The Living End.. Or some sweet small band off Adeline. Gaslight Anthem would work too!

Boston
Big D and the Kids Table or Rise Against If they were to co-headline with Weezer, I'd poop my pants.
Juan
Weezer was so sketchy last tour, they were generous with the setlist though But the band atmosphere it's like a Free-for-all, and they put Brian on the back (although that was because of his eye)
Tubbie Head
I dunno.. But..When I think about it.. The Foxboro hot tubs would be the most amazing thing in this world (I know it will not happen, but I still have some hope that they'll play some cover during the tour *dreams*)

Comrade
Broadway Calls, Bowling for Soup (wtf!) and NFG would be pretty decent. TBH I'd love a mix up and put some rap dude/group up there for lolz. Throw in a reggae band maybe. Something chilled. Or some metal band like Machine Head/Slipknot. Just for the mind fuckness.

communitykid
Placebo would be great to see with Green Day.This band Sick of Sarah...Presidents of the USA, but I guess they're busy on their still. Now, if you're thinking tour with them, on a tour, I'd like to see MCR, The Offspring, Radiohead, Blink 182 again, Weezer, or Jimmy Eat World. Solitary One
I think it'd be hilarious if Metallica opened for Green Day. I know it'll never happen, and I don't really care.Well, now for a serious answer, I'd have to say Rancid, that would be awesome, even it it's not likely.
