1997
I hope it is true and it is too rude for stores! With itunes and alternative music stores stock it they will have nothing to worry about afterall everybody always wants to here stuff that is "too rude" or has be banned it only creates more hype. I don't think Australia will have anything to worry about our radio stations don't even censor the word fuck out of songs anymore no matter what time of day it is! I didn't even hear a censored version of American Idiot until I searched for one. And I only found out accidently there was a censored version because our radio stations just played the song as it was! The ruder and more offensive the better, less 12 year olds in the pit! - Except the ones that climb out of their bedroom windows and sneak out! Little Rebels!"Raised Fist for Freedom of Speech!!!" Robin105
Couldn't give a fuck. I'm still getting my copy regardless. Me too. The stores will sell it and if not it will be online. Nothing to worry about. I'm not worrying about it.
Guest TwoDollarMellie
I don't think its offensive enough to be prohibited from stores.I mean, I think it's kinda stupid that CDs with overly sexual material are still allowed to be sold, yet CDs like this can't. Wtf.I'd completely understand if a religious music store refuses to sell this (It wouldn't really fit their catalog anyway), but aside from that, no. queso
i dont think they understand that this is just going to make people want the CD more. lol.i dont care though, i like the reputation it gives them
Starbug
i dont think they understand that this is just going to make people want the CD more. lol.Oh, I think a lot of people do lol I also think that's part of the point, at least on one side of the spectrum. It's all so damn hypocritical. Anyone that expresses their opinion on a matter, whether it's legitimate or not, gets their balls busted over it. Especially when it comes to religion. I am a Christian, I'm about to join the Catholic church. Would I prefer they leave religion out of it? Of course. Am I gonna hate the band over it? No. That would prove the point they're trying to make Am I not gonna buy the album? NO WAY! I've been waiting 5 years for this bitch to drop, I'll own it that morning. It makes no difference to me. If the song bothers me, I will flip it. Simple as that. NO need to make a federal case out of it, those people crowing about it are only making Green Day more money and making themselves look ignorant.End of rant. Little Rebels!"Raised Fist for Freedom of Speech!!!"You'd be a JJJ listener, yeah? JJJ don't censor anything, they just play the language warnings for the more extreme stuff. Community stations can do pretty much whatever they want, too, but commercial stations will always censor fuck during the day (and quite often at night), and it wasn't all that long ago that crap, shit, and sometimes ass and damn were censored all the time, too. The version of American Idiot that got played on most radio stations (with the exception of JJJ) had fuck and faggot censored on it. But I still can't see most of the music stores here refusing to sell a CD because it's offensive, they'll just make sure that it has the right labels on it (my copy of Blink 182 with has an M15+ sticker, instead of a content warning, which means they would have been totally within their rights to ID me when I bought it), and if you're too retarded to pay attention to them, then it will be viewed as your problem. Alan86
Any retailers that refuse to sell a green day album are stupid. It will be one of the biggest selling albums of the year for sure and with lots of shops struggleing for a much needed cash boost i`m sure most retailers will sell an album that is going to be huge. Nimrod99
What's necrophilia? I would Google it but I'm scared of what will come up if I do...basically means the fear of dead people/bodies or the fear of dying... or am I confuzzling that with Necrophobia. Oh shit, no wait... it's umm, wanting to get "up close and personal" with a corpse. Fuck it, it's one of those two.

J'net
I want the album to be offensiveMe, too, but in a Green Day way (i.e. not TRYING to be offensive ... just being honest and pissing some people off because they can't handle hearing someone express something they disagree with).
