What has Green Day done to you?

How was your life before you started listening to Green Day's music, boring, lifeless, depressing, confused?

Billie Joe always says "I know music can change people's lives" Has it really? I believe it does. I changed because of Green Day, before I used to take in whatever shit people were giving me and I wanted to fit in be like everyone else but now I'm a rebel, I hate all major authority that tell you what the fuck to do. I'm that sheep that runs out of the herd, the one who steps out of line. So how was you life and how did Green Day affect you? Cuz I know they kick-ass and change people for the better

Green Day in the course of a month and 3 weeks has managed to change my perspective of how i see myself and other people and just the world in general. It is changeing the way i dress by makeing myself more comfortable with myself so i can dress the way i want to. It has made me comfortable with the fact i'm Bisexual and that i dont' need the approval of my parents, classmates, or friends. I truely love them for giving me my individuality and i wish i could thank them for it but i also am smart enough to know i will probably never get the chance to do so. I will always hear their music in my mind because it helps me become me instead of the boy that people expect me to be.

green day changed me more than people know, if it wasn't for them i wouldn't be here now. When first heard AI my grandad had just died and i was stuck in deep depression, but in the space of the hour it took to listen to AI, i was coming out of my reverie. For 2 months i hadn't be me, just this depression taking me over, so much that i attempted suicide. But once i listened to green day i started to come through, and st jimmy is the song i remember thinking "my life doesnt have to be like that" so because in my opinion, of that song, i am who i am now. And for that i am grateful. Thats it in short anyway.
