I'm harbouring a semi-secret plan to jack in my job (if i can't get a sabattical) to travel around the world and catch a number of Green Day shows, meeting as many of you as possible along the way.

I dunno. It depends on a lot of things with me. Money, who would I go with, where it is, and when it is.

No doubt, I'll definitely be going. Hopefully I'll be able to go to a couple of shows around my area. I already have almost $80 set aside for it, I've been saving for it for over a year. :D Plus I plan on joining the Idiot Club soon just to get my hands on presale tickets, if they have them. The only trouble is finding friends who would want to go, and pay for the tickets for possibly two or three shows. I only have one friend who even remotely likes them, and even then she doesn't like them that much. Hopefully I'll have it all worked out by the time the tickets go on sale.

if they come my way, then maybe.

but they probably won't.

Hey your way is my way! Yeah, I think Suffolk sucks too much for Green Day. God, I wouldn't mind them playing Ipswich or Norwich or Cambridge though, it would be the stuff dreams are made of :D

But London's not too far is it? I'd class it as pretty close, it'd be well worth the journey.

They are the only band I would go to see regardless of the venue. I've even saved some of my Christmas money so as to ensure that the ticket price will not be a problem. Hopefully i'll get to see them more than once on this tour though as i've been waiting for so long. Can't wait!

Hell yeah!

With the cash I have so far though, I think I could only afford one or two.

But still, this year, I do not care what it takes

I am not missing any shows, esp. not after what happened last year.

Yeah that's my plan. Public transport is expensive, but it's not that far to London so it won't be too bad, I'm lucky to be as close as I am really.

Transport's still gonna cost way more than the ticket though . Unless I can get a lift...

I totally will see them again (as long as it doesn't cost too much. :pinch:)

We should plan GDC meet-ups for each date.

YES!

I've been waiting 9 years to see them. I'm prepared to wait outside MEN box office all night to get the tickets. When I was younger my parents wouldn't let me go and for American Idiot I couldn't get tickets.

All my friends want to go but I'll be prepared to go on my own and be perfectly happy :)

I dont know, I am so damn short that if I can't be right up in front I am pretty sure I wouldnt see a damn thing. :/

I'm pretty short, too. So, I take it floor tickets would be better..what is more expensive? Front row seats or floor tickets?

Well obviously going to my home town of Manchester, (hopefully) but also want to return to Dublin if they play there (great venue) and we would like to revisit Paris and Budapest if we can get tickets. It really all depends on getting tickets. I am happy to travel to a good few places in Europe. It just depends on what tickets we can get. I think if you recognise the tickets don't come round so much, you make more of an effort to get wherever the gigs are happening. (and you can tickets for them). I'll go pretty much anywhere in Europe for a good gig.

Oh, I am SOOOO there. With bells on. This is the end all, be all for me. No show lives up to a Green Day show, and nothing else works as a release for me quite like their show does. I've seen them twice, once as GD and once as FHT and both were incredible. I felt re-energized after each one (once the soreness and deafness and hoarseness lessened ) But yeah, one way or another, I plan on seeing them this tour at least twice. That'd be awesome :D I can't WAIT!

I'm already saving up for it XD. Not much, but everything helps and I really want to go to more than one show if I can get tickets. I've already told my sister she's coming with me (and that whatever day the tickets go on sale i'll be stealing her card). It should be fun. I'll probably see them in London and I might manage maybe Birmingham or somewhere else close if they go there. And meet ups with other GDCers sounds like fun XD
