A Green Day 'Best of' is IMPOSSIBLE!

It's not completely pointless.

I drive and so have a playlist on my ipod so I can attach it to the radio in my car and just let all the good songs play through when I'm driving. It would be dangerous for me to start changing CD's or scrolling through the ipod menu when I'm driving. Additionally if I'm doing something like cleaning the house, I just set that playlist upto my speakers and let it plays. It prevents me from listening to one song I like whilst cleaning, then going over to change a song onto another Green Day album and then going back to cleaning.

Yeah but see I enjoy all Green Day songs pretty much equally so it doesn't really bother me which one plays.

The only time I change songs is when I'm sitting in my room listening to them. But when I'm driving I just play all the songs in whatever order they are in on my ipod.

And scrolling through your ipod is definitely a bad idea when driving, especially for me. I'm a terrible driver so I don't need anything to distract me when driving haha. Which is why I just leave my ipod on Green Day (when I want to listen to them) and let it go through all the songs.

I know what you mean. I find it impossible to choose a favourite GD album because of it.

I made a CD of my favourite Green Day songs, but that was years ago.

I'd say, from the top of my head, my favourite 20 Green Day songs, in no particular order, are;

1. Burnout

2. Babs Uvula Who

3. At The Library

4. Holiday

5. Castaway

6. Pulling Teeth

7. Homecoming

8. Only Of You

9. Armatage Shanks

10. Sassafras Roots

11. Westbound Sign

12. American Idiot

13. St. Jimmy

14. Welcome To Paradise

15. The Judges Daughter

16. The Grouch

17. Nice Guys Finish Last

18. Scattered

19. Words I Might Have Ate

20. One Of The Razorbacks

Pretty amazing list! That about sums up me too. I enjoy the amount of tracks you chose from each album :)

I can't even think of GD best of, if i were making a list, the list would depend on my mood so it's impossible to choose. i like (almost) every single song.

One's favorite songs vary to the other, so one's playlist that he considers gold, may be shit to the other one

It depends on each own taste and character the songs that make it onto the list

I, have a special feeling for those songs that I don't listen enough, like android or fashion victim and a nice mention for Don't wanna know if you are lonely, first time I heard that one I listened to it 10 times and it got me into husker du

On International Superhits aren't any songs from 1039 SOSH or Kerplunk...

I totally agree with you.
