Who ISN'T looking forward to the Green Day world tour?

What a question! :o

I'm looking forward to it more than anything in the world, of course. However, I am not looking forward to the huge amount of stress getting tickets, organising and paying for transport there and back, getting there early enough to have a shot at getting near the front, etc, is bound to cause me. I don't handle these things well.

there may be ome people who actually lost repect for green day after american idiot, some of them may think green day shouldn't play a tour because they're scared of hearing most from american idiot than from any other album, like nimrod or insomniac. I'm very happy about this tour, i haven't seen green day live in my life but i would love to, i actually thought they were spliting up, but thank god i was wrong

Man you guys are such loners!

Me and my girly are going to LA and Frisco to see them. Any of you loners on here plan on going to those shows you should totally find me.

All the Tru Punx are going to Sacramento to see them!

Ah, who am I kidding? I'm probably gonna go to SF to see them as well. I'm gonna go to as many shows as possible.

I'm going, heck. i'd cut out my own Kidney's and sell it for scrap just to see them live.

I'm looking forward to the tour, but some of my friends are like "meh... i'd go with you, but if it intertwines with laundry day... no."

ME! i want another foxboro-sized tour!! to the same places!!! :D

actually, im lying, a stadium tour would be fun to go to again. i like the theatricality of stadium shows... the intimacy and rawness of club shows is better, but stadium's are fun too :)

I want a Foxboro-sized tour to different places :(

Ha none of my friends have any interest in Green Day, luckily my sister has a huge interest in them so I'm going with her. My brother will most likely wanna go too come to think of it. But if for any unforseen reason they couldn't go, I'd totally go on my own. If I'm there and my boys are there, it's good enough for me!

Plus don't forget as well as making friends there if you want, GDC people at each show can meet up . That's gonna make the whole thing that much more brilliant, it'll be so cool to meet some of the people on here in the flesh.

I could care less, but maybe this means I have to take Kelsey to go see them?

I'm extremely excited about a new tour. I usually have my summer holiday booked by this stage but I'm holding it off until I find out when they're touring...much to the annoyance of my friends. They can go without me for all I care, as long as I see Green Day :D

I'm in a similar position. I keep putting off booking things like holidays in case they clash with either a Green Day show or tickets suddenly coming online. I

couldn't bear to be on holiday knowing I was missing them. I know I'll have to book something sometime. to keep other people happy. I just wish they'd hurry up and give us dates so I can organise my year :P

Their lives shows are disappointing, unless they're going to suddenly stop playing the same show over and over.

Are they really? I've never been disappointed by their live shows yet. In fact, they are the best live show I have ever seen. And I've seen alot of shows. (although ACDC was pretty sweet last night....)

And the playing the same show over and over really isnt disappointing unless youre going to 10 of them. :ermm:

I saw the guys during the AI tour for the first time and we had really bad seats so this time if they come near STL I'm definitely getting GA and living up the whole experience by getting friends and waiting out for the day to see them and be up close. That's always been a dream of mine and I definitely want to do it. =]

I'm trying not to get excited because there is a chance I won't be able to go--I'm moving back to the US and that could happen right after they do a Boston show/right before a Milan show (and this stuff tends to happen--I missed three concerts by a few days last year because of various changes in locations). I also don't really like stadium shows that much... and I get really stressed out about these kinds of things. But I still want to go. I haven't seen them live.

I've been waiting 4 years to see them live, so, for sure I'm excited by this upcoming world tour!

I've huge regrets because I didn't see them in Paris in 2005 (4 years next monday :o), so this time I won't miss them! I plan to go to several shows, in Paris, and other cities of France if there are dates, and I want to see them in London too, because English crowd is just awesome!

I still remember when I had my ticket for their concert, which was then cancelled. Grrr. So, when I'll have my ticket for the next tour, I'll be the happiest person on earth, all this waiting will be over, FINALLY!

My biggest dream is to see them in live, the ones I know who went to their shows told me it was awesome, I want to live that!

I'm not, if they won't come to Finland.

14 years without doing a gig here is a fucking long time, and I will jump off the bridge if Finland isn't in their tour list.

I'm quite looking forward to it, but I'm not certain I'm going to be able to go, what with GCSEs and things. Do we have any idea roughly when the UK dates might be?

Surely you can take one evening off revision to go and see them?

That's what I was going to say. I went to a Green Day gig the night before I had an A-level exam. I felt so unprepared for it but it ended up being my best result....the Green Day effect :D

lol thats awesome :)

I'm going to go to the tour even if I have one of my final uni exams the next day. I would kick myself if I missed it.

Oh god....I hope the dates don't clash with the Take That dates in June :o
