Rezurgam
I don't understand why some people are worrying about Green Day's release date for a birthday present, cuz you know, the day that the album is released, everyone on this site is going to the nearest store to get it birthday or no birthday. sydneygirl
I don't think anyone is actually worrying about it as a birthday present or not, Jose and I are just chatting about his birthday. But yeah, you're right, no doubt everyone will grab a copy of the new album as soon as it is out.
Juan
I'll grab it when it comes here, so if it's April, then July must be around

HelenGD
Uhhh... I wanted to be realised in March (near my birthday) or in May (near my name day) Anyway... at least I'm glad that they put the date (or else the month) when the new album comes out. Katarina.
I hope for a single around march or april.. so the album would come out in may.. Although I hope for an earlier release xD I'm so saving my birthday money for this, just in time, so I could buy the album the first day it's in stores
Eirik
Isn't April in the Northern spring? So an April release is about right with the "spring release", just before the summer festivals. I wonder if they will release a single before the album, or release them roughly at the same time. Yup, it is, and I think they'll release a single a couple of weeks before the album is released. jose's birthday is in April. Eirik's too.
Hermione
Lol I just saw this in the shop with that same old bloody photo on the cover . Still very nice to see those Green Day faces staring out at me from the shelf again. Ahh I can't wait.
The Judges Daughter
Kerrang is one of the worst magazines on music you can buy. I'd say it's worse than NME. NME are funny but they're such snobs. Kerrang may be poorly written and devoid of purpose but at least they're not too up their own hole.

Unless there's a toilet paper shortage, of course.
Hermione
^Haha agreed. NME is awful, the worst of the lot. Because of those Foxboro blogs where the Rev said "sting!", they reported that the Foxboro Hot Tubs had "partied with Sting" . They're the kings of bad rehash-jobs. chickin'pickin'
The one thing NME has over kerrang is, is that it often reports on good bands.
Hermione
^Hmm not too sure about that. One is mostly rubbish metal or whatever it is, one is mostly rubbish indie. Blah, not much in it. Their only redeeming feature is they both have a thing for Green Day
chickin'pickin'
I am. NME definitely wins in terms of bands covered. Shame the writers are utter Tosspieces.
The Judges Daughter
The one thing NME has over kerrang is, is that it often reports on good bands. True. Their letters page is often good for a laugh too. Probably because the writers don't have too much input into it. The funniest thing about NME is it's such a machine that it builds bands-like the Kooks-up so far and then as soon they get too good to bend to NMEs every whim they tear them down. I used to read it for years and the contradictions between issues and the way in which jourmos opinions change is mind boggling. Their both produced by the same company anyway aren't they? Much of a muchness.
Spark of Insanity
think thats just wishful thinking, but i hope February to, be out for my birthday then! I hope that a single is released in February in time for my birthday. But origionally I was thinking April-May or even around June. I'm just glad it will be out soon.
