That's the link where the Hillside Dance theory came from... So let's not get worked up about rumours starting, it's better that rumours start on here than anybody else.. Hillside Dance WASNT something that somebody on here just made off the top of their head.Coz they were bored... At least this is a little something.

Coffee & Repent, i think that was people getting far too excited and twisting what somebody had said in every way possible. or so it seems.

The person who said MIND BOMB was 99.9% the title.... can you enlighten EVERYBODY on here, as to why you think this... and which radio station you heard it on? and what EXACTLY was said?

So far, Hillside Dance seems most realistic... who knows maybe that is a silly rumour... but i CAN see it being called that because of the whole BERKELEY link / reference... (search Hillside Dance in google and you get a place in Berkeley)...

Ugh, you guys are frustrating. That post on Yahoo Answers is using GDC as a source for the rumor when I've been trying to tell you guys these rumors are completely unsubstantiated.

There's absolutely no proof of any album titles being used. Green Day is known not to leak out info before they're ready to. They're not amateurs at this. A couple of people saying they "overheard" it being talked about, people who we have absolutely no way to validate, is not a source. That's a rumor. And all of you have just gone along with it giving it some level of credibility where there shouldn't be any. This is how rumors get started and it's really bugging me that it's spawning from GDC.

No one knows what the title is. No credible source has given any hints to anyone that we know of and could trust. Stop the rumors because they aren't helpful to anyone, especially when they begin to be attached to GDC. If there was any sort of credibility to the rumor I'd shut up, but there isn't any.

In a way, I agree... but at the same time, GDA and GDC have a reputation for having things confirmed, so I see why Andres didn't want rumors circulating that came back to GDC. I mean, typically GDA and GDC are pretty well known for being accurate, and not the rumors.

But I'm with you that discussing anything, rumor or not, is fine. It just should be cleared up from the beginning that it's a rumor, and not go crazy.

around y!a, i have established some sort of network where i can confirm/de-confirm the larger rumors.

i alert whatever small fanbase that's left there and tell them what's going on.

i think i may have made it worse in this case unfortunately.

in no way have i made up any rumor, nor do i consider myself a rumor spreador, meaning that i say it is true, because i've made points to say that it is not.

i heard it on here, and have quoted it in my question.

i have had to PM andres disclaiming that i was the rumor starter- he know's im on there, he knows who i am on there.

it's sort of making things difficult because i've wanted him to take me seriously.

I've managed to de-confirm this in other info-questions i have made and didn't mean for it to spill out onto gdc.

I know GDC and GDA are always accurate, and this is the only place I come for Green Day news and such, so I totally agree with you there. I wouldn't want the sites to get a bad rep at all and I like how Andres and everyone else does squash the rumors before they get out of control, especially the really ridiculous ones.

I just want to have a civil discussion about the band.. heck, one of these "rumors" for the CD title could actually be it! But discussing it and letting us talk about it will let the time go by faster than not talking about it, in my opinion.

I dont think you made it worse. If I had never heard of the name and saw that thread, I wouldn't believe it. Afterall, you did say it isn't confirmed, and you even said you "don't want to spread anything if it is invalid." People just see Green Day, new album, and Hillside Dance and say "ZOMG DATS DA NEW ALBUM!" and keep it going from there.. But I think you were okay with posting that, I didn't see any harm in it and you didn't say it was confirmed or act like it was.

Same here. I've been holding out to make Green Day's next tour be the first concert I go to. Even just the trickles of info, like the UK site going up, just gets me anxious..

I just bought a savings tin and put some money in yesterday. That's for when Green Day go on tour evenutally, to support the new album that will be out next year. I missed seeing them in their AI tour and to this day that makes me well up with tears when I remember it. But, it won't happen with the next tour that will following the new album because I'll be there!

Many bands write their songs on piano.

It doesn't necessarily mean that they'll transfer that onto the actual album.

exactly, i hate when people that heard this OFFICIAL green day statement that "they were writing more song son piano" rapidly conclude that the fucking songs are going to be played and recorder in the CD as piano songs.
