jtdscape
COFFEE & REPENT / HILLSIDE DANCE 2009Being Produced by Butch Vig... who (that nobody, shame on you all, has mentioned) produced the latest AGAINST ME! album, NEW WAVE. Which was incredible. The production on it was immense, and the songs were just incredible. For people asking where those so called 'titles' are from..Apparently some guy working at Jerry Finns (RIP) Funeral, spoke to Billie Joe (or something like that) and heard him say the new album might be named Hillside Dance.I don't have a clue where the Coffee and Repent rumour came from, but i'm looking into it.But at least we know it's going to be great at the hands of Butch Vig, and Green Day who are just the best band to ever grace the earth. Thanks for that info.Imagine...the new album turns out to be a Greatest Hits CD like IS?I think we'd all be pissed, except if it has a few new songs or something. that would be bad if it was Greatest hits. But then again they just released International Superhits before American Idiot came out so there really wouldn't be a lot more "Superhits" unless they planned to put all of American Idiot on it. I say we will get another Superhits album after another two albums. Just a guess.

Hermione
Watch the first couple of minutes of this -Eeeeeeeeeeeek! Very interesting. All these little clues are so great, I'm loving this! If that album is called "Coffee And Repent", I will look like this: Green Day won't DARE make it a greatest hits, not with me around to answer to
jtdscape
I think that "Coffee And Repent" sounds more Green Dayish then "Hillside Dance"

Viva La Junkpile
UK first eh?Do you think that's what the Rev meant by "England I have you on my mind" !!! That is possible (I'm flailing because of this uber shiny news... also because I wish to glomp you for the Adam and the Ants sig!)
Starbug
Oh, I'm sure this won't be a greatest hits, I mean really... I think it's all new material. Just listen to how that rolls off the tongue... ALL... NEW... MATERIAL...
Hermione
I don't reckon this has anything to do with the "England on my mind" thing. I still think with that they planned to come here as the Tubs, but their plans happened to change for whatever reason, so they didn't. This is all new!
