Basically they have a new album coming out in the new year, and a 7" vinyl coming out just before that with the cover of Coming Clean. I love this band, and I can't wait to hear this.

"Our new album is done! We finished recording it in July; we finished mixing it earlier this month. It will be mastered in November, after which we'll share some of it with you.

Titled That's So Gay, the album has 14 songs, is 38 minutes long, all originals. It will be released, like our last two albums, on Alternative Tentacles Records. It will probably be out in March. It will be preceded by a 7" vinyl single; "Average Men," a song on the new album, is the A-side, and the B-side is a cover of a Green Day song, "Coming Clean," that will not be on the new album. We're very excited to be at this point; it took a year and half from the beginning of the album to the end, the longest we've ever gestated one of our releases. "

By the way I have no idea if GDA covered this before it went down, lol. I don't think it did

Should be really interesting, it's not often a decent band covers Green Day.

Just the very MENTION of Pansy Division has caused Groovy Underwear to be stuck in my head yet again. It's the hardest song to get out of your head in the history of the world, fact.

If there was ever a perfect band to cover that song, it's Pansy Division. Can't wait to hear it.

Awesome...

I hope there's some kind of online release or something... because the vinyl will be impossible to get here...

It's about time they paid tribute to Green Day. Not they they owe them anything, but it was because Green Day took them along on the dookie tour that they became famous. I like Pansy Division, they're a lot of fun. I'm such a C.S.F. :woot:
