I think you are talking total bollocks! and personally, if I was in a band and somebody who worked for my record company was posting advanced news about a promotion campaign that huge amounts of money was being put into, I`d be a bit pissed off about it. They could be saying where they're at, discussing the Foxboro stuff, whatever - regardless of whether it's something definite about the next album, it would be great to hear from them in some depth. I'm also thinking - Oct/Nov, the entire world is gonna be focused on the election, is that a great time to be looking to publicize a long-awaited album? I've many times that tthey would put their next release out on Nov 4th,election day. Not that their next masterpiece will be political, but just to make a splash,an event as Billie has stated. Well, time is running out, but I'm still hoping. They could at least do some sort of interview at least. I really don't think about it much at all anymore to tell you the truth. I know I'll be all excited for them again when they finally say or do something, but right now I've gone from anxiously waiting, to being content to listen to other music. Perhaps they just want to keep it tightlipped until they have all their shit figured out and set in stone. But I certainly think that an announcement on their progress wouldn't be too much to ask. Even if they just say "Fall 2009" or (God forbid ) "early 2010" as an estimate in an interview in some sort, I'd be satisfied.The only reason I have a little bit of beef about them being all secretive is that all the new fans the band has made since the release of American Idiot, seem to have the misconception that the band is broken up, or just continuing as FBHTs only..., which I think may be a mistake on the bands part when it comes time to release the new album.
