Ila Reto
haha, Hermione, I'm the EXACT same way. I'm super paranoid about getting tickets. I also worry that by not joining IC, i'll be cutting my chances of getting tickets in half. so yeah, i think i'll be joining.i've never been to any concert in my life, and am starting to get SUPER nervous about 2009. we need credit cards to buy tickets! and the mp3 downloads so we know the songs before the tour and album is released! and then we need clothing and then the physical album and then more tour tickets all through credit cards WHICH MY FAMILY REFUSES TO USE because we've been in debt for like 10 years until a few months ago so now i wont be able to do that and im SURE pre-sale or even normal tickets dont take money orders and i' ony have like $300 for the past few years and to blow it all in a month!!!!!vent vent vent vent!!! sorry. i usually dont get worked up like this. what are the payment methods for joining the idiot club and what sites sell good after-presale tickets and would they accept money orders as well? 924Nimrod
You know what alot of venues do, is that they release more tickets the day of the show. My mom and I drove to Sacramento to see Eric Clapton. We had no tickets. We went to the box office and ended up seats right above the floor. Seriously, one step and we were on the floor. My mom also did the same thing with a friend of hers when they went to see Paul McCartney in San Jose and ended up with floor seats.I wouldn't be too worried. Fuzz
Green Day events sell out amazingly fast. I honestly don't know if there were any leftover seats for the AI tour. As far as I knew, they were all sold out online, i don't even remember the ticket office being open at the two events I went to. But i'm not sure. Kryssi.
Ah, i'm not going to worry about Green Day tickets. Hopefully when they're released it'll be my pay day too.. otherwise I'm kinda fucked haha. Still, over here it doesn't matter if you get pre-sale or not, because isn't the gig standing? On GA. But i'm not sure.In the case they were talking about, its not about the venue holding tickets for release the day of show, its more like after the venue gets everything set up, if they can, then they add more seats.I have done this numerous times as well for different events. It works alot of the time, but its not a sure thing.

On GA.There's seats and there's GA..... Don't worry about it. There will be news about when they will have presales and then you just have to remember the EXACT time they go on sale and get them. On the last tour presales usually lasted about 20 minutes, and the show in Seattle didn't even sell out until 5pm the night of the show.

chickin'pickin'
I guarandamnTEE you i'll get a ticket, Whenever they go on sale again, all this bull about rushing to buy them is not necessary.
farley drexel hatcher
If I remember rightly the first UK arena tour they did with AI took a couple of months or at least a few weeks to sell out. Obviously certain dates will go quicker, like the London ones, but i'm sure there will be plenty of shows to go around. I am a little nervous about it but I honestly can't see any of us missing out altogether. I'm sure the tour will be big enough so that everyone gets a chance. At least i'm hoping so, anyway. hardtoconcentrate
Yeah I'm pretty sure it'll be easy to get tickets. A Dublin show I went to took a few months to sell out but of course I hadn't got a ticket. Ended up paying £85 for my ticket
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love
I so badly want to a concert! But since you can only pay with credit card (and maybe paypal, whatever that may be. yeah, wat is paypal) for IC, i hope i can get tickets. And i hope they will even come to the Netherlands..I think joining IC would increase my chance to get a ticket quite much, cause i don't think very much Dutch people are member. but i don't know..gosh, it's annoying to not know things! Hermione
^Aren't we all? Yeah you're right, I mean if people who don't even have the internet can manage to get hold of tickets, we should be fine. There's no denying it's still gonna majorly stress me out though! Guest LusciousZ
^ Oh, yes.Last night I had a dream/nightmare that green day were playing an acoustic show for the local radio station here (one they've played at before). The station was giving away tickets and the only way to win them was to call in and answer some obscure question about the band... and for weeks I was calling about 83479832 times a day and they wouldn't answer the phone. It was horrible.
Rob
So what happened to those magazines that were supposed to do Green Day cover stories? Also, why doesn't the U.K. mailing list mention about the new GD album coming out in 2009? I'm depressed. Lol.

Guest LusciousZ
The selfish part of me wishes that they'd start touring next summer, as in after june when finals are over. But that would be bullshit if we had to wait that long. I have a feeling something's gonna happen in april.
