I think at this point we all say that warning is underrated so much that it is now Overrated  So now I would pick Insomniac. And songs...definitely Blood, Sex, and Booze.

Suffocate. Quite a lot of the older b-sides weren't put on any albums because they simply weren't as good as the rest of the material but Suffocate easily could've fitted on album somewhere.

Letterbomb, At The Library, Pasalacqua, Christie Road, Haushinka, Sassafras Roots, Uptight, Prostethic Head, Blood Sex and Booze. Even though it's new I think Rusty James is one of the best songs of the trilogy, it deserved more credit than I think it gets.

Rusty James and Letterbomb are pretty overrated on GDC at this point  All I heard about was Rusty James when UNO came out.

every song that wasnt a single from dookie or american idiot (or good riddance) is underrated, but the songs I feel that really should be huge and are not are: one of my lies, the grouch, castaway, poprocks and coke, doo da da, and sick of me,

  • Kerplunk: No One Knows
  • Dookie: Having A Blast
  • Insomniac: Stuart And The Ave
  • Nimrod: Jinx/Haushinka
  • Warning: Castaway
  • American Idiot: Letterbomb
  • 21st Century Breakdown: Restless Heart Syndrome
  • Uno: Rusty James
  • Dos: Ashley
  • Tre: Walk Away

They probably haven't played any songs from Shenanigans because it's a collection of b-sides from Dookie to Warning. Not that the b-sides aren't great, they just normally play album tracks.

Anyway, I'd say pretty much all of 39/Smooth, Kerplunk! (with the exception of "Welcome to Paradise"), and Warning; "Armatage Shanks," "Brat," "Bab's Uvula Who?," and "Tight Wad Hill" from Insomniac; "Scattered," "Worry Rock," "Last Ride In," "Jinx/Haushinka," ah Hell, most of Nimrod; "Song of the Century," "¡Viva la Gloria!" (the first one), "Last Night on Earth," and "Restless Heart Syndrome" from 21st Century Breakdown; "Angel Blue" and "Rusty James" from ¡Uno!; "Makeout Party," "Baby Eyes," and "Nightlife" from ¡Dos!; and "Missing You," "A Little Boy Named Train," and "Amanda" from ¡Tré!.

For the most part, Dookie, American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown, ¡Uno!, and ¡Tré! seem fairly credited.

I loooovvee the way you italicize the albums and quote the songs. It makes your posts look really neat

They don't play Letterbomb often? Really? Because they've only been playing it at just about every show since 2010.

I'd say something from Nimrod that isn't Scattered or Good Riddance. Maybe Uptight, Prosthetic Head, or Haushinka. Other than that, everything from the early 2000's. All of Warning, Shenanigans, and Int'l Superhits' songs (and The Network's) get passed up for American Idiot.

I think a few under rated Green Day songs are:

Whatsername
Blood, Sex And Booze

Poprocks & Coke

Ha Ha You're Dead

Sassafras Roots

A lots of songs from Nimrod are actually underrated such as:

Scattered
Jinx
Reject
Worry Rock
All The Time
Walking Alone
Uptight

Well half of the album. Kick ass album by the way.

I would add Scumbag, Do Da Da, Sick of me, Tight Wad Hill, etc.

Am I allowed to say Shenanigans? Cause it's fucking fantastic in my opinion but not a "studio" album.

Blood, Sex, and Booze and Whatsername are the first underrated songs that come to my mind..

Pulling teeth
Stuart and the ave
Walking alone
Homecoming (Yes JOS overshadowed it )
Whatsername
Viva la Gloria
Kill the DJ ( this was supposed to be their big hit from UNO and it didn't manage to do well in the charts and they only played it live once or twice)
Walk away

and 21st Century Breakdown (album) is so underrated with the fans.. for me it's their most mature album and musically/lyrically their best
