This thread is fine here. He made it as more of a place to discuss it not just request it, and since it involves green day we don't need to file it away in the movies & tv forum

I found out about this through the GDA in that random facts thingie? The one that sucks you in? I'd never known about it before that. I don't have the abillity to download anything like that, so I guess I'll just have to catch it on tv :( sucks balls.

Haha, I remember when I first saw that, it was great. The episode itself isn't that good but Tre's character is so funny.

The sound of their "band" in the episode really reminds me of The Lookouts

Haha, I remember that episode. Tre was Kane, and Mike and Billie were just two of the band member that kind of stuck in the background. I remember at the end where Hank, Boomhauer, Dale, and Bill light a bag of dookie on the band's doorstep and ring the door bell and then take off running, lmao. I have it on tape somewhere. Unfortunately, I don't remember what season it was on during. I want to say the 2nd or 3rd, but don't hold me to it.

It was way back in 98, Season Two, in an episode called "The Man Who Shot Cane Skretteburg". Tre was the main guy (Cane) but Billie and Mike were band members. Tre was SO funny. The best part was when they went to a restaurant to observe teenagers or wherever, some guy was wearing a shirt that said BILLY JOE GUNN. and then in the voice over commentary on the DVD they said it was a shout out to Bill...

I hate King of the Hill. What a retarded show.

Agreed.

People love that show down here, I have no clue why..

:o King Of The Hill is genius! It's one of the best cartoons ever made. Although this particular episode, it has to be said, is quite poor (apart from Tre's amusing character).

This was in 98? Seriously? I remember watching this episode when it was new, and that would mean I was 4 or 5. I know I wasn't that young when it came out... I didn't know Green Day was in it for a few years, but I know I couldn't have been that young :o

^Yeah, Billie and Mike are in it, but they literally say about 3 words between them and you wouldn't even know they were in it if you weren't told. Basically you just hear them laugh, while Tre has loads of lines.
