Kind of like when you move things around in your house just enough to piss off your significant other, but not a whole haul redo by any means. The colors are red and grey and black, so that looks a lot like the old one. In color, it actually reminds me a lot of this forum.There is much complaining about the default font color....it's a medium grey a lot like this font color here. But it is nearly impossible to read on the red background! There are no signs of any admin action online, nor have I seen Marc or Karen on. Someone mentioned they saw you on there, did you make it on finally?The thread sections are all named after songs on AI, which seems an odd approach. There is a thread with suggestions for changes to the forum (already several pages long, of course!) And most of the original active Group threads have been recreated over there, although they are here and there (since there is not any heading for Groups at this time). I'd order the mops, it will definitely need some tidying.dont tell me.... theres spam all over the bloody place already! shesh! dont know if Marc or Karen have got back on there to be honest. I`ve been emailing both over this with what I know and what responces I`ve had about things and I`ve heard back from Karen. Marc could well be having pc problems again. So I was questioning the current state of the idiot club to see how members were feeling about it, if it was still worth the investment, and my thread got closed. I was directed to this thread, which is a f*ckin' year old. This was a lame decision for a number of reasons.#1: bumping old threads sucks#2: the person asking the question isn't asking it anymore (and doesn't need any more e-mail notifications)#3: those who gave their two cents a year ago could have a different opinion#4: The majority of people don't READ threads from back to front#5: useless replies went off topic or added nothing in the form of an answer#6: half the people who replied the first time around, during the promotion of an entirely different album, had idiotic things to say...but wait, it IS the Idiot Club, isn't? slappyhours Posted May 2, 2009 Share Posted May 2, 2009 I joined like a few days ago haha, i was just worried about presales and getting a GA seat. people on the forum are pretty annoying. everyone's like "i hope these assholes who just joined in the last few days don't get good tickets and those who deserve them will." hahaha. i just hope i get good seats. i'll be pretty pissed if i don't n hopefully there will be other benefits n crap once the cd comes out n the tour starts, because i was in it three years ago during my uber green day obsession and i didn't get anything haha, it sucked. I never post on the forum over there - I only have time for one forum, and I love this one best ! However, my membership paid off early this morning during the IC presales when I got standing tickets to seven shows in the UK and Ireland for October. I was asking a million annoying questions about it and they answered all of them no problem, no one was bothered that I'd only just joined. I don't know where you got that impression.So yeah about whether it's worth it, it definitely is for presales if they're going to have them in your country (I got my 2 standing tickets for the gig I wanted), and the people there seem fine. But the site itself is pretty disorganised, and to be honest they way the presales were handled, whoever runs the news section didn't keep us very well informed which was annoying. And I think it's ridiculous that they mention presales in the advertisement for people to join when they don't even have them in loads of places, total false advertising.
