Green Day - 1000 Hours to Kerplunk DVD

I bought it yesterday, watched it today and... I think it was nothing amazing,

it could have been so much more. And much more interesting if there would have been some interviews of the members of Green Day. Now it's just talking and talking and more talking with couple of guys who know something about the beginning of Green Day.

So, have you seen it and did you like it?

I think this is the wrong place to ask this, but.....

I don't have this one, but I have ''The Singles'' DVD and it's OK. You know, all this unofficial stuff is nothing special, but for a real fan and collector like me it's a must have. :D

And the thing that I don't like about those unofficial DVDs is that they don't have a permission to put Green Day music on it so they use shitty cover bands and that really sucks

^yep, that's true. There was a one cover band in the DVD, were it Green Idiot or something like that

and,umm, I didn't like them very much. :D

This is why I don't buy unofficial music DVDs: they are invariably shite, and a waste of my hard-earned moolah.

YES, Green Idiot is on The Singles DVD also! They're not that bad, but just the fact they aren't Green Day, but they are on DVD, sucks.

Iv'e not seen it and if it's crap, I won't bother.

Thanks for telling us that it isn't that good, cus like someone said the fact that it has Green Day's name on it would be enough to make me want to buy it.

You just don't buy unoffical DVD / CDs, especially Green Day ones.

And every unofficial DVD is pretty much the same. There aren't any unreleased interviews with Green Day and just bunch of musicians nad journalists talking about them..

I haven't seen this one, because I do shy away from the unofficial DVDs. But I've found the "official" ones to be awesome. "Riding in Vans with Boys" is still one of my all time favorite DVDs!

I echo the thanks above for warning us about this one!

i've probably seen all the videos on youtube.

Yeah me too. Someone needs to put the rest of the ones from the video section of GDC that aren't on Youtube on there, so people who are incapable of and too lazy to download them (like me :D ) can see them. Only the ones that are allowed, of course. Do it!!

Unofficial dvds suck for any band in my opinion. Sometimes, people make pretty good compilation boots from appearances/interviews/concert footage, and those are worth buying. Right around the time that AI was released, there were a lot of good compilation boots on ebay, but ebay cracked down on this and suspended or canceled all of those sellers accounts

haha random videos like billie playing king for a day with acoustics and a kazzoo.

based on what i've read, that DVD you got there (or any other unofficial ones) are terrible.

Yeah I noticed that you stuck that video on here the other day, it's frickin awesome.

Unofficial DVDs are only fit to be used as coasters.

Well I'm glad I got the warning. Because I have on several occasions at Borders thought about buying it. Anyone here bought/seen the "Suburbia Bomb" DVD? How is it?

Suburbia Bomb is he same DVD as Pogo Paradise; it just has different cover. DVD is.... not so awesome. Couple of interviews with Green Day and journalists and musicians reviews, photos..... And there is no music from Green Day. - but there is from cover band - it sucks

But I'm a collector so I had to buy it.... :D
