cellophaneice
That's not really fair, now...It's stupid regardless of whose pictures they use.Obviously, Billie Joe made a mistake, and it's totally indefensible and was an irresponsible action (especially being a father...) but there's really no need to target a person for one such mistake versus giving accounts of the harm it's done in general - and I really don't understand what they're trying to do with the pictures when they want to legalize some kind of drinking and driving...blarg what I wanted to say I don't think actually came out the way I ment it to on here. It made sense in my head, but not here. So, Yeah ignore me.
Femme Gauche
Hell, I'd settle for getting drunk WITH a celebrity. Well it would certainly be much less underhanded...sorry, cellophaneice

Trotsky
^ No doubt, but I think the main thing people are taking issue with is if he really deserves to be labeled as a "hard-core drunk driver" for one mistake five years ago.Or it might have to do with him being twice over the legal limit. .18 is pretty fucking drunk. greendaygrl93
This pisses me off. He made a big, terrible mistake, and I realize that, but c'mon, it was 5 years ago. Let's let it go. If he weren't famous, he'd be able to quietly put the incident in the past, and move on. But because he's a celebrity, they have to throw it in his face, drudging up bad memories? Why? It's not fair at all. He made a mistake, and I'm sure it's one he sorely regrets. I don't think Booze Lobby took into consideration that the people that they are using in their adds are real people who have families and careers, and don't need this crap being brought up. jimmydiedtodayandsodidi
Well that's stupid... "hardcore" drunk drivers like Billie Joe. Didn't he get caught DWI once? A "hardcore" drunk driver, haha. What's that mean? You get caught?

Here is the address if anyone else is as outraged as I am about this: http://www.interlockfacts.com/about.cfm#contactI can't believe they even put the words "repeat offender" under his image on this site, implying that he maybe one when we know he isn't!I would love know how many people in their organisation that have been arrested for some kind of minor offence or parking ticket or something! These people disgust me, great role models they are teaching us to put down others!I am going to take up drink driving in protest! greendaygrl93
^ But it was a one time thing. Although it was bad, and he was way over the limit, it only happened once, and he's kept a clean slate ever since with the law. They make him out to be an alcoholic mess who drives drunk all the time, and that just isn't the case.

netty
I cant believe somebody would take up drink driving to protest over something like this! what kind of numbnut idea is that? I`m sure Billie would be proud of you for that idea! good grief... the guy was used for this because of the size of the fan base! doesnt matter how many times he did it. he was caught being a bloody idiot! they are using him to get across the fact that drink driving is a seriously stupid thing to do! I`m pretty sure he wouldnt want any of his fans being stupid enough to go out and make the same mistake he did!

Hermione
The thing about taking up drunk driving as a protest is SO OBVIOUSLY a joke.I don't think it matters how serious his offence was. He's been arrested and punished according to the law already. Once that has happened to someone they should be free to go on with their lives. The media shouldn't be allowed to choose to punish someone futher in this disproportionate way.
