I can speak Spanish, not quite fluently but efficiently. I think I may try to learn German or something.

Do it. It's a neat language.

Or Greek if you fancy a challenge.

Graduation, I could always see Green Day another time. I'm only graduating from high school once, and it would be pretty selfish considering how much my family would be disappointed not seeing me graduate.

So when you were 13 you could speak them all absolutely fluently? And you would expect everyone else to do the same? Haha, have fun mocking kids.

is everyone absolutely insane?

you work so hard for so many years and you don't even recognise it by going to a gig where the band won't even recognise you?

i personally spend alot of my time and money studying, and i wouldn't let if go over a gig.

i don't know how often you people go to gigs, but after studying for 3 or 4 years full time i would rather formally be recognised for it than go to a gig.

you only go through this once, gigs come about everyday

You recognize it by the diploma you end up getting anyway.

The formal recognition is boring for some of us though.

It's hardly an achievement at all. I pulled C's doing absolutely nothing up til I just took the GED test.

Exactly, so what's with the Graduation crap? Here it's just get lost to uni.

Graduation isn't for you, it's for your parents and family to come and be proud of you and take pictures and shit. This is especially true if you went to a private school, they paid for your education, you could at least give them the few hours it takes.

Guest Phoebe.

Graduation, I'd rather have that memory than the memory of getting pushed around for 6 hours, being smelly and beaten.

At least I'd be clean, and with good hair.

That's an awfully negative way to look at going to shows.

I'd much rather smelling like shit, pushed and knocked around while losing it to a band that I love, than going sitting with people ive known and despised for years and being clean. At least id feel comfortable at a show.

Basically Graduation is nothing more than showing everyone how fantastic you are.

Pointless.

What a negative way of looking at schooling!

And SOZ for not wanting to be achey and smelly.

You'll always find me on the balcony/at the back at gigs, all of the music, none of the sweaty morons punching eachother in the face.

What an unnecessary expenditure of calories.
