Green Day vs. Graduation

^Well we don't have graduation here but we do have really low quality proms. Instead of a boring shitty prom with teachers there I went to a house party. Good times

I guess my graduation was just super important to me because of everything going on. My best friend was valedictorian and I helped her write her speech. I was being recognized for being a member of the Honor Society, getting an Academic Honor degree, and being in the top 10 of my class.

I have seen Green Day live before, and I probably will see them again. So I would choose graduation. I have worked damn hard to finish high school!

I don't get all those people who think finishing high school is a real big accomplishment. Even before I just decided to get a GED, I pulled C's doing absolutely nothing. I could have just done nothing 2 more years and graduated with a 2.0.

Graduating high school is the metaphoric equivalent of beating Halo 3 on the easiest difficulty.
