TotalBasketCase13
Whenever I have kids I do plan on raising them around the music I love, but I'm not going to force them to like it. If they do, that's great! If they don't its not a big deal. I love pop-punk, but for all I know all my future kids will be into death metal or country music. Whatever makes them happy I guess =]Oh, and your daughter is gorgeous
Boston
Your daughter is so pretty! She has beautiful eyes I agree with that. If I ever have kids they might like Green Day since I listen to them, but if they don't I won't care.

Floydhorse
My kids have to listen to Green Day etc when they are in the car, thankfully they love it. My youngest one has some crap taste in music but in her own room she can play whatever she wants. I just don't like it when she sings really loud....it's really really bad. Dai.
When I've got my kids (if I do, that is), I'm gonna buy them band t-shirts (no mohawks or piercings though, heh) and they will listen to the music their mom likes. No kids songs or craddle songs, just pure awesome music, like Nightwish, Megadeth, Metallica, and so on . I already planned in my head that I'm gonna burn cd's with all slow songs from good bands for when they have to fall asleep, they will do with music I want a baby girl, she shall be a rock lover like her mom *headbangs*
chickin'pickin'
I'll obviously expose them to my music favourably, but they should listen to a variety and make their own decision.
farley drexel hatcher
From my experience, if you shove a type of music onto kids as they grow up they usually end up hating it. Or maybe that's just because my mum had such bad taste in music XD. I don't think i'll force anything onto my kids when I have them, but obviously they will hear it and can make their own choice. They'll definitely be around a lot music from the get go, that's for sure lol
Tripe
Your daughter is adorable. I played Green Day a lot for my three kids when they were younger, mostly in the car. Now that my oldest is 12, she definitely has her own music preferences. While she has some Green Day on her Ipod, she also has Mylie Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers on there! My youngest (now 6) probably got the most Green Day exposure, simply because she went everywhere with me in the car before she started school. She always loved Are We the Waiting from AI. She still calls it "Are We We Are." My son likes oldies music right now - that's the station he listens to on his radio as he goes to sleep each night. Funny to hear him humming American Pie. I don't think forcing any specific music or band on your kid is the right thing to do once they are old enough to know what they like themselves. I can't stand that Mylie crap my daughter listens to but I would never in a million years ban her from listening to it.
Whatsername825
No, stupid people with strong arguments do.aha!yes, the one's that think they know EVERYTHING!but they're just plain stupid! xDi'm sure my kiddies (when they come..) will end up being green day lovers.if they don't well meh.but you know, they'll have their fair share of GD Youngin' merch! : )you know, the cute diaper vests.shoes! : )
