I call you pricness because I like you.

Well, the EP is called Hormoaning

I'm soooo off topic, haha

Aw thanks, that's quite a compliment. Right back at ya :)

Lol yeah that is quite similar actually. I don't think I'll be adopting it as a nickname though

Right, this is my last off topic post of the day

I gather you now hate J.K. Rowling with a passion for what she unleashed.

 Nah it's good, now people can actually pronounce it! Not so good when everyone on the internet incorrectly thinks I'm a Harry Potter fanatic though...

I'd probably pay 50 bucks at the most. I paid only 15 dollars when I saw them on the Insomniac tour (which was friggin' awesome). I would consider paying more at a smaller venue.

Surely i'm not the only one who likes the big venue's just as much as the smaller ones.

The intensity and production of a large show is fun!

I have to say I'm, not a fan of the big venues, tbh. I t kind of deperesses me when the band is so far away.

I'm sorry, that's what I thought! (Not that I thought it was a bad thing.)

both shows are fun, no doubt. But i enjoyed the big show just as much as i did the small show. They manage to fill the room or arena, and seeing them walk around like they own the place with 40,000 people around makes me feel giddy.

Yeah, I see your point. I've never seen a really big show of theirs, unless you count Lollapalooza, and yeah I admit it was pretty fun to watch them prance around and hold all those people mesmerized. :D

I don't mind large venues so much as long as I'm closer to the front. The first Green Day gig I went to, I was in row ZZ, it was terrible  I couldn't see a thing, they didn't even have the larger screens switched on at the venue. I could hear pretty good except it was drowned out by a group of 12 year olds screaming 'Billie Joe I love you' at every given opportunity.

yeah that might have a role in me liking the large venues. Both times i saw them (Pittsburgh and Giants Stadium) we got really close to the front. Like, 2nd row in the pit.

Well, don't get me wrong, all 7 shows I've been to were great... both large venues and smaller venues. I guess the reason I prefer the smaller venues more is because the interaction is better (and I DON'T do the pit... I get very claustrophobic) and there are less screaming teenies. I totaly admit, I like the way they work the crowd though. I do admit that they could do away with the whole fake masturbation thing though... my ears rang for 3 days after that moment (from all the screaming).

Not hearing is only part of the fun.

After the Phoenix show a couple months ago i was up till about 4am trying to update the site and my ears wouldn't stop ringing. Ahh memories.

To be honest, with Green Day, I don't think the size of the venue matters.

I went to Milton Keynes to see them, and I was waaay back up on the bank, but it's still the best concert I've been to. They know how to work wherever they play.

I'll probably be either there of Philly. Courtney lives in PA, and i told her i'd go out there to visit when Green Day played over there again.

Depends on the venue.

Up to 300 at a small, local place.

Nothing more than 75-100 for a larger show.

And no stadiums.

I want to go to at least 4 or 5 shows around the country. Gotta go to Ohio to visit Tom and Wes, gotta go to PA to visit Court (though if they do a large venue like giants stadium, we might go there) and if there's one here in new mexico/az/texas/colorado I'll try to make it to at least a couple there. And maybe Washington state to visit Greg (guy i met at the FHT show in phoenix)

Gonna see if we have these GDC/GDA meet up's at each show like we did for the FHT shows. I'll hopefully have some shirts/stickers or whatever to give away then too. I'll make sure the shirts are good'uns.

I wouldn't really care what size the venue was, all that would matter to me is being as close to the front as possible.

And grr you Americans are so spoiled with the amount of Green Day shows you get :D

i'll probably do a contest sort of thing for the design. give away a very good prize like we did for the GDA logo (gave away a new iPod)
