They'll still be together, as awesome as ever. Bill will look 40 (since he always looks 10 years younger than he actually is). They'll still be coming out with new material. I couldn't bare it if they broke up!!!

i dunno,

but doesn't anyone remember

"the only way anyone is leaving this band is in a body bag," ?

they've already promised! D:

I was thinking about this. :) I kinda hope it's true, I don't want Green Day to split up, but like some people are saying, I don't want them to keep going, making crappy album after crappy album. If they're still doing great though, then awesome.

(But if they broke up I'd still be sad...)

I see divorce in the future.

Too true. I then see a move to the South West of England. By force if necessary :D

You know, theyre always one of the few bands I think will continue for years and years to come... Even when theyre really old I think they will be playing music together even if they don't release albums and tour somehow I dont think they could manage not playing music together.

Maybe I'm just being a blind optimist but I think we don't need to worry about Green Day's end coming anytime soon at all

I think Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre will continue to make music and rock out as long as they feel they have something worthwhile to put out, whether they are 36, 50, or 80 years old. And I also think Green Day will always have fans rocking out to their music. :) I'll be one of them.

I think... Green Day could still be together, but not like they are now. I think it'd be more like... just something that was in the past that they still like to do sometimes. A few shows here and there, but for the most part, they'll be settled down with their families, and living their lives at least semi-normally.

I love Green Day and all, and I don't want to see them break up, but I don't think they're going to be one of those bands that just keeps going and going and going when no one really cares anymore. I think they'll stop making music when they feel the time is right, and I think they'll go out in style.

who knows? I think Green Day will still be together if they have something to put out. I think that they will be playing at shows, but not releasing albums. Anyway, I feel surprised about the people who have said that they will split up after the new album, I don't think is time for them yet.

I see Billie developing a Heroin addiction.

He just seems like the type...

LOL Probz more coke... since he would have the money to afford the addiction, Heroin bleh he would loose all of little respect I have for him.

I can't see Billie looking like Keith Richards at 50.

Yeah Keith Richards is a much sexier 65 year old who looks like a Pirate and can play awesome guitar.

Um, look at the Rolling Stones.

They look like corpses.

No they don't this is a Corpse this is The Rolling Stones, I don't see the slightest of resemblance.

They actually look pretty damn healthy looking for 65 year olds.

I don't see them splitting up, they'll probably just slow right down and do exactly that they want to do - I don't know what they've got left on their record contract? As for Billie doing drugs I think he's a lightweight like me, they didn't agree with him when he was younger so he's unlikely to do that in his old age.

There are plenty of artists that continue their music until they're rather old: The New York Dolls, Elvis Costello, The Rolling Stones, etc, etc...

I think they can handle it plenty! I'm guessing they'll be more like The New York Dolls-- stay healthy & more-or-less clean. Maybe taking breaks from one another at times, but still going strong. (: Their live performances may get less *active*, though.

They said they were in it until one of them "is in a body bag", and we know they love what they do.

I don't think that will happen-- one bit.

Okay so we hire someone to assassinate one of them, Preferably Billie Joe or Tre.
