Hopefully broken up for their own good. Artists who continue long past their time never get any real respect. I'd say this new album could be the last, maybe one more at the most after this one.

I think that's a pretty fair assumption

Well, obviously Billie Joe turned 36 today. It's just been making me think how dangerously close to 50 years old each of them is getting. Leading to my question: Where do you see Green Day in 15 years? It would be weird seeing Green Day putting out albums at 50 like U2 and Bruce Springstein. Wouldn't it?

I don't think it would be weird.

They'll play as long as they feel like.

There are plenty of artists that continue their music until they're rather old: The New York Dolls, Elvis Costello, The Rolling Stones, etc, etc...

I think they can handle it plenty! I'm guessing they'll be more like The New York Dolls-- stay healthy & more-or-less clean. Maybe taking breaks from one another at times, but still going strong. (: Their live performances may get less *active*, though.

They said they were in it until one of them "is in a body bag", and we know they love what they do.

I don't think that will happen-- one bit.

I'm not surprised that they're not actually broken up right now.

Because, it's taking rather long with all the side project crap.. I mean FHT are fine, but it's getting kinda annoying.

Despite much how much i wanna meet them, I don't think they'll be together after the new album.

You know they can't live without each other anymore and without that band

Well, i imagine them turning 50 and still playing. I think they'll never quit of Green Day cause it's what they like to do and they do it very well. :D
