It would be nice to hear some new stuff though. But seeing as i havent heard all of their albums yet i'm not bored or anything. I think they're one of the best bands ever but that might be because i'm a relatively new fan.I agree.I got into Green Day 2 years ago or so, and I still like listening to stuff I dont really know that much.so it dosen't really bother me, but of course I want to hear new stuff and I'm totaly waiting.And for all those who say that "They are'nt what they used to be", face it - Dookie era is gone.They're all grown up, and almost 20 years past. They were 20 yr when they made Dookie, and noe they're like 36 or so.They arent intrested in the same things that intrested them in Dookie and Nimrod and whatever.of course it's dissapointing that we didn't hear from them almost AT ALL in the past 4 years,but it's your choice to choose between stop liking them and say "you dont care about us, you've changed, we dont like you any more so fuck off" or realizing that they are'nt what they used to be and say "we miss you guys in Dookie and so, and it's too bad that we dont know what's going on with you, but we still like you and we're looking forword to the next album".I choose waiting. I mean, back in the day.. while I was a young lad.. *cough* i mean girl... about knee high, they would be entertaining to watch on MTV, back in the days where MTV was about the music and not about the booty and pootang. They've made me a better person, really, even though I guess a lot of people say that, I actually mean it, i mean i'm sure only half of the people who say that stuff actually mean it. Being self confident in myself for starters, nothing is out of reach either. I mean, look at their story... it's inspiring totally. I can't remember if i've posted before in this topic, but I don't care.. more posts. I mean, i'm sick to death about people who call them sell outs.. come on, back in the early days, things were about love, booze, pot, masturbation, more pot and more booze. But now, they've finally kinda of found where they're meant to be. They're still the same guys I fell in love with all those years ago.Also, they've created a whole genre by themself I think, their music is instantly recognisable and you can easily say..
