Laura33
ha most of you will eat up anything green day creates. most of these songs sound tired and dated...more like the strokes than anything else. 2 good songs but the rest is garbage. shes not a saint is a complete rip off of the who's version of summertime blues.I suspect they are supposed to sound 'dated'
madie
If it wasn't them, then they wouldn't be so mysterious
justcause
I suspect they are supposed to sound 'dated'Of course they are - it's faking up a period-piece, it's a fun thing. The way I see it, we're always dying to hear the songs that don't make it to the album, and here they are, getting the full treatment.

Pineapple
ahaha and everyone happens to love them just because it is Green Day
justcause
I think that anyone who has a sense of music history and a sense of humor would love these songs, regardless of the Green Day connection.
Laura33
i also reckon if people didnt know/think it was them, people on here probally wouldnt like them or even care.Hmmm, well if I had of come across this on my own and it had nothing to do with them I would still probably like it. I like this kind of music. But it just so happens so many people are 'caring' because it is something new and very different from the Green Day Camp.I think that anyone who has a sense of music history and a sense of humor would love these songs, regardless of the Green Day connection.Exactly
Pineapple
Yeh i know what you are saying. But there are some people who would only 'like' it because they are Green Dayeven though the songs are great

Todapus
Don't know if this has been mentioned before but I was skimming the comments at Perez Hilton and indeed theres a bar in Oakland called the Ruby Room and a place called Foxboro Park in Hercules (the town next to Rodeo) so that may be where the band name came from (maybe they went pool hopping near Foxboro Park as kids or something).I kinda like them. I don't love them but they remind me a little of the White Stripes. The only thing I don't like is the dance-yness. They really do sound straight out of the 60s, for better or for worse. Its awesome to finally hear some new music! If this album is really that 3rd experimental one they were talking about, I'm really looking forward to the other 2!!
