Parley
That's just crazy though. Mike was definitely in The Network. Sure, there was plaster over 'Van Gough's' face, but it was still very clearly Mike-shaped plaster. And the voice... that was definitely his, you could just tell, because it wasn't too far off from his speaking voice.Definitely. He sang lead on "Joe Robot." Pan.
Some of you that know me well are probably not going to believe me, but I'm REALLY into the Foxboro Hot Tub. Their songs are just amazing... Billie's voice sounds so much awesomer... seriously.I think I just got into Green Day again....
Viva La Junkpile
I wonder how soon it will take before this thing is "revealed" properly. I mean, when The Network first came out, I went on their forums & for atleast 2-3 months people were still all going, "This can't be Green Day; Green Day suck. The Network are awesome." When will the mystery end? xD
Parley
Yeah, and a few other songs as well.Thanks. "Joe Robot" was the only one I remembered without going back and listening.

Why people have the attention span of a goldfish and lose interest in the first place is beyond me. Take things in proportion so you won't spoil it in one shot, stretch it out, then I don't see how anyone besides the top 40 surfers could lose interest. I think I prefer Billie's non-Green Day voice over his Green Day voice (there's a difference). It seems more natural.
Laura33
I wonder how long it will take for Green Day or The Network to issue something denying they have anything to do with FHT

Mommy's Little Nightmare
Thanks. "Joe Robot" was the only one I remembered without going back and listening. Well to you too. I didn't feel like going back and listening either. And as far as I know, the only one that Tre does lead on is Hungry Hungry Models. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me though. mallorymaloney
Why people have the attention span of a goldfish and lose interest in the first place is beyond me.This amazes me as well. I know so many people who say they 'like Green Day', but have 'lost interest'. How is this possible?I guess Green Day's just another band to some people ... As hard as that is to believe.XD;

I'd hardly say that counts though. As much as I may love the past stuff, I can still only listen to it so much before I start to want something new to listen to. It's not even getting sick of it really, it's just desperately wanting something new, and getting a little bored with the same old thing. I still listen to them alot, they're still my favorite band, I just can only listen to the same thing again and again so many times... if that makes sense. Mommy's Little Nightmare
Well no, because I read something about The Network's bassist being a vegan, and Mike isn't.That doesn't really mean anything though, since for a while, people did think Mike and Billie Joe were vegeterians. And the vegan thing could just be something made up. I mean, they say Fink is from Germany, and he's very obviously Billie Joe. Billie Joe isn't from Germany. monkeyman
if this is green day (havent listened yet... but im dlding the songs now... ), mabey they are doing something similar to what the living end have did once...they played a few gigs under a different name and played some songs off their album they were going to release (i think this was before state of emergency...)so mabey this is a similar case... GD releasing songs under a different name, to see what the fans think...

Then I'm like, to myself; 'Fuck, you moron, there's other Green Day material you can listen to.' And then I sorta like them all over again, y'know? I listen to Green Day a lot, but I feel really sad when I don't because I'm all hopped up listening to new and "exciting" things. All love & excitement starts all over again when something new comes out. I was the same between Warning & AI...
