Foxboro Hot Tubs

ya know, i get the distinct feeling that if this band wasn't associated with green day no one here would like them.

That's very untrue. I LOVE a ton of bands very similar. I'm a music fanatic, so I like many different styles & over 600 bands... I know that even if this band had no association with Green Day; I'd still like them-- I'm speaking for myself, but I'm sure there are many people that feel the same.

What the hell, Perez is a Green Day fan? The same guy who squees over the Spice Girls and the Jonas Brothers?

That guy has a very diverse taste in music.

Perez is not the only on who posts that stuff there are other members of that blog. Hes to busy to be doing all that in one day. Hes now acting in another gay sequel

I feel the same way. Even if it had nothing to do with Green Day, it's still a damn good band with really great songs. The reason people KNOW about it is because of the association with Green Day, but if there were no association and people heard it, I'm sure alot of them would still like the music.

First on-topic tidbit of a post in a looong time:

I'm wondering why iTunes had it as "The Foxboro Hot Tubs" when the site doesn't say "The" in their name at all.

probably because it's more gramatically correct/sounds better that way. when bands do that it bother me so much. im a grammar nazi

You know how people use the terms 'overnight sensation' for artists that get alot of attention in a short amount of time? I think it's safe to say that Foxboro Hot Tubs is literally an overnight sensation.

So Andres, is this a record for the fastest moving thread ever?

I don't think so. Award nights and the release of American Idiot was pretty busy as well.

HAI, I'm a naive fanGRL who doesnt beleeve voices can be imitated, and i also is dumb enough to think Gr33n Day let 3 new songs be leaked on the intern3t. lulz

There's much more than the voice that shows it's Green Day.

Also, why would Green Day even care if the songs were leaked? They're rich enough (and getting richer) from Green Day. They only do the side bands for fun and creative output. Not everyone is evil and looking for a profit like you constantly think.

haha no waaay

at least the network was tolerable

This stuff sounds like actual music. There were a couple catchy Network songs, the rest was just too ... not good.
