Billie's scream sounds different...so much sexier. Nah, you aren't really causing controversy with me just because I haven't heard Foxboro Hot Tubs. rubysoho Posted December 8, 2007 Share Posted December 8, 2007 I'd think a brand new band out of nowhere with songs as tight as these wouldn't have a problem getting signed, even to a smaller label, and would be insane to give them out for free and not release them via itunes instead. Green Day can afford to do this. Yep, they have a contract. But members of GD messing around in the studio and releasing their own non-Green Day side project can do whatever the hell they want.But hey, seems like people have their minds made up one way or another, I'm just enjoying these tunes and glad to hear that voice again. I don't hate them. I certainly don't think they lack talent, I just lost interest. I've lost interest in punk rock in general and have been much more into metal than I was a year ago. That doesn't mean I can't stand anything, interests change.That's off topic though. I just don't believe it's Green Day, and I know Billie Joe's voice enough to judge reasonably. I may not have listened to Jesus of Sububia 10,000 times but I gave it at least 100 listens. I may not have seen BIAB 50 times but I've watched it at least 5.So, basically, you think it your duty to oppose the majority...in every instance?Not always mine. But it is always someone's duty.
