So far i can think of why do you want him?, 1000 hours, dry ice, the one i want only of you and (i'm guessing) green day. can anyone think of anymore?

He wrote Whatsername around that time. Like Good Riddance, he saved it until he thought the time was right to put it on an album.

Yep. He also wrote St. Jimmy around the Insomniac era. Again, he didn't feel it belonged on the album at the time, so he saved it!

Wow and i thought he wrote those like when he wrote americn idiot!
Nope, he saves up a load of songs for other albums. American Idiot could have been included on Warning, but he didn't have the solo finished in time.
what about hashinka that was during that time or during 92
Written for Dookie but didn't feel right with the rest of the album.
