How about we only post replies relevant to the topic ?

ie, leave Avril and Motley Crue where they belong.

i never said the name Motley Crue anywhere amanda, just pointed out that they have accomplished more and you can learn more from those 3 books then any book titled about green day.

But the title is favourite Green Day book, so it's pretty irrelevant to the topic starter who is a Green Day (and Avril) fan, and who asked which Green Day book people liked best.

Winding someone up and taking the piss out of them isn't canceled out by hitting a button to let me know about it.

It's like burning your own house down and then calling the fire brigade.

I personally enjoyed "Green Day: American Idiots and the New Punk Explosion" by Ben Meyers. His way of writing really drew my attention, besides the new information he provided about Green Day.

Many of the other books fail to mention anything about Pansy Division, or really capture the state of the music business outside of Green Day's sphere of influence at given moments in time.

I have two books, but haven't read them yet. :pinch:

I've heard Nobody Likes You is pretty good. I'll start that one soon....hopefully. haha

I only have 2 GD books

Nobody Likes You by Marc Spitz and Green Day by Doug Small

they both have the same kind of information but I Like Nobody Likes You more because it's more professional and it goes into more detail and length

it's actually fun to read

the Doug Small one is eh..for light readers

I don't like Doug Small's book.

Green Day: American Idiots and the New Punk Explosion, Ben Myers captures the whole punk movement better... plus he's British, so it talks a lot more about their early European tours as well...

He made quite a few blunders about facts, though.
