Green Day to Headline the Honda Civic Tour 2008?

k i'll edit this so i'm actually coherent this time:

first of all, this seems really arbitrary and fake. like why would you have ne-yo or like alicia keyes on the same list as the academy is and green day? and some of those bands don't have a chance in hell. likeTAI or motion city soundtrack going up against huge, platinum selling artists. that's not fair.

who says the artist(s) will actually be able to tour at the time too? like what if green day were making their new album when the tour was scheduled? would you want them to take time out to tour or make a new album?

or what if they didn't want to be a part of a corporate sponsored tour? it would piss off the fans but it would also mean that they weren't bitches for honda.

serioulsly, if you're a fan of any band on that list don't vote for them and just force fall out boy to do it again.

I can't imagine Green Day agreed to this since they haven't even begun recording yet, but I'm voting for them anyway.

EDIT: Nvm., I voted MCS.

Tnaks for getting me excited aha!

Oh well, there are some RAD bands on that list and knowing that that tour will come through my area, I had a hard time choosing.

But I will vote once for every band that I really want to see.

I just voted for hellogoodbye.

I VOTE FOR GREEN DAY 20 TIMES :)

Well done. Unfortunately, your statutory rights ARE affected by this, and a refund will not be provided for the time you wasted doing that.

I voted for Green Day, but sincerely, If they are recording the new album I prefer that they spend time on it and not in a sponsored tour.

I voted for Green Day. No, I don't like the fact that they'd be following in friggen Fall Out Boy's footsteps, but I still haven't gotten to see Green Day live and it'd be nice for them to actually do a tour again. Even if it means they haven't got more than a couple new songs. (yup I'm selfish).

haha i already voted for red jumpsuit apparatus because the 'rja alliance' was flooding my bulletin board on myspace :P

not that i don't want to see green day again ( sept. 21, 2005- best day ever) but i'd really rather they came up with a new album. either way it'd be an awesome show. plus there's a ton of other bands on the list that'd be perfect to headline too.
