At the end of the day they're not 25 anymore, they can't act as stupid as they used to and they probably don't want to. I really don't see how you can pretend something like having Green Day underwear is about the music and not just to make money. I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that the ethics they believed in and from where they came from said it's all about the music. That you're doing what you love and if you make a profit, then that's great, but the music is the most important part of it all. Once again, I could be wrong, but they probably believed in stuff such as all kids should be able to get out and see them at live shows. Well I don't know many kids that just have an extra fourty dollars of cash lying around that they can spend to see Green Day live. Then again, there's probably an arguement for that saying that they've matured past their punk ethics or something and that as long as they're able to get people to pay that much, why shouldn't they do it?
