I just put in a bid for 300 bucks....but I guess I didn't meet the reserve price...

yeah i bidded about the same amount and the reserve wasnt met so, im not gonna bother. $300 isnt actually that much for it, its 150 GBP and u can buy a crappy guitar from Hooters for that much lol.

whats the VIP badge 4?

if that vip badge was a crew members then it was basically an access all areas badge. a proper, all areas one.

I`ve been searching for the original auction that the guitar came from but cant find it. I was hoping to see what it went for last time. I have a feeling it must have been somewhere at least close to what the "buy it now" is set at this time. maybe a few hundred less but I seriously doubt this will have a reserve less than $1000.

I hate when people put reserve prices on. =/ But anyway I wouldnt bid too much unless there was actual proof that it was Billie Joes. Other than the Green Day jacket, theres no proof that this was anywhere near Billie Joe's hands so whatever haha

If it is actually Billies guitar, which i think it is then thats a bargain.

I mean, an original brand new version of that guitar costs around £1750, so an original 1 from the 60's would cost a lot more and 1 modified and played by Billie Joe would be priceless! but if you had to put a price on it, it would cost a hell of a lot more than $2,500

^i agree. the guitar itself would be over the top bidder's price which is about $500. idk how much the guitar would be but i would say over $1500. and then since it was used by Green Day PLUS the jacket and the VIP pass. i say that the bid is a bargain. but still, i wouldnt bid since i have no $$$! :)

How much does that model of guitar cost in and of itself? I know it is a bit pricey isn't it?

If I was independently wealthy, I'd drop the bucks. I would want some sort of certificate or something though....

Of course if I was independently wealthy I would do a lot of things....
