Green Day Influence!

What bands do you think wouldn't exist today without the influence of Green Day?

1 that I think wouldn't exist is Good Charlotte. I'm not into their new stuff all that much, but you have to admit Young and Hopeless was an amazing CD that I listen to alot.

Wait, you're calling MCR and Blink 182 sucky? Wow.

Yes. Yes I am.

Why is it worthy of a 'Wow'?

Well Blink 182 is a revolutionary band. In my opinion of course. And MCR is one of my favorite bands so it shocked me a bit. But to each his/her own.

there would be alot of bands that never formed but there would also be heaps bands that never would have got radio play until green day came along

I don't really think MCR sounds like GD

These new bands might me influenced by Green Day,but they are far too mainstream to sound like green day.

I think there's a lot of MTV influence in these new bands.Like MCR or Blink 182

Well Blink 182 is a revolutionary band.

How were Blink-182 revolutionary? They basically copied Green Day and watered it down and trivialised it until it was just crap rip-off pop. They sucked and Tom DeLonge is a stuck-up twat. But respect to Mark for what he's doing with +44.

I still can't believe you think Blink-182 were revolutionary just because they ripped Green Day's style and jumped on the pop-punk bandwagon

:o OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.

I think Green Day would like to be NOT known as being influential, if the list of bands they "influenced" is anything to go by.

Good Charlotte....Just go away.

It's a pity that a band like Green Day influenced a bunch of idiots like Blink 182.
