Thanks for that Netty. I noticed though that Green Day weren't in the list of interviewees. Maybe they're in the TBA group (?*shrug*). Either way, this should be a great documentary. No doubt, Green Day will probably feature quite well with concert footage. Looks to me like 2008 will be a good year. Hopefully, Green Day's new album, and then this documentary. All we need is the John Roeker film. :thumbsup:

A small quibble but it's been bugging me.

From what we know about this documentary, which, granted is not a whole lot, it seems to be about the4 explosion in the popularity of punk rock among mainstream audiences, which happened in 1994 (hence the title) when Dookie was released. It's not about "the punk scene," as was posted on the GDA main page. The punk scene is a separate entity that exists entirely outside of the mainstream music scene. If the documentary was about "the punk scene" it would be about the undergraound bnads that are in that scene, or were at the time.
