Evil-Sheep
Well I think they could release one under the name of The Network, seeing as there is a mysterious change to their site, and then stagger the other 2 across a period of time or something like that. We'll have to wait and see...
asknomore
I would be gald with one album, imagine how they'd put 30 songs and some classics in a concert...Crazy and cool, but possible?
Amanda
Yep, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a new Network album in the foreseeable future as well.
Anko
“Ooh, I’m in love with (Sir) Bob Geldof,Saving polar bears gets me off,I’m best buddies with Bono who’s old,He wears a hat coz he’s going bald,Ooh yeah…”etc Well the word around the street is.......they're going "backstreet" on us. FilmAdaptation
"Super" album would be cool I guess. I think they'd run into the same the The Red Hot Chili Peppers did, there'd be a lot of filler; and that was only a double. The Early November did a 3-disc, The Mother, The Mechanic and The Path, and while they're no where near as good as Green Day, it was what you guys are talking about. 3 different styles - 3 different discs - 1 overall story. TheMinority
I'm not gonna expect anything bigger then a normal cd. That way I won't be disappointed.

Jillie Boe.
I think it would be still rubbish, with all that "experiment" the meaning of the songs would just dissapear.
greenbugs
I'm not gonna expect anything bigger then a normal cd. That way I won't be disappointed. haha.same here, although i hardly think we'll be disappointed either way.

I think any new GD material will make me happy

FJ
Green Day would never rip-off The Clash so blatantly.
Kleptomaniac
I hope they aim for something like that.
No Man Can Eat Fifty Eggs!
You know, if they want to get out of the whole American Idiot phase, I think they probably need to come up with something really new and exciting. Unless they are planning to make the CD like an extention on AI...which I hope they aren't...but anyway, no matter what they do, whether it be a massive set of songs or like a CD of 13 songs, I'd definitely buy it. Frank's Penis
I'm not gonna expect anything bigger then a normal cd. That way I won't be disappointed. what if they decide to break up and go roam the woods with bono and (sir) bob geldof, eating only wild berries and wearing sacks made of hemp? Trotsky
I'd imagine they'll put some amount of effort into making it good seeing as it'll be their last one. 30 tracks would be stupid. I'd rather have a CD with 9 or 10 well done songs than a huge ass CD with a mash of everything they could come up with.
netty
their last one?you wish the band were finished? if you do, I think you might just be disappointed.

Trotsky
Wtf? do you know something we dont? Billie said in an interview awhile back that the band will go for one more after American Idiot and then probably hang it up. They are taking a lot of time to make an album, they're old, they're rich, all classic signs of soon to break up.their last one?you wish the band were finished? if you do, I think you might just be disappointed. Do you honestly want GD to become the next Rolling Stones.Maybe one day, Billie will be 75, and I'll go to their show, they'll play all their hits, end with "Haha You're Dead" and then one of them will drop dead on stage.
