All by myself....hah so funny song. When I bought Dookie I was always sure that song "In the end" was the least and I will turn off radio. But one day I forgot to turn radio off and after a few minutes was started All by myself...I was surprised and so happy ..haha

I'd hardly call any of these songs especially s&m saturated. But BSB is definitely the best one there... if not for Billie Joe getting whipped in the beginning :)

But... that's not Billie getting whipped at the start of Blood Sex And Booze.

When they were recording the album they thought it would be fun to hire a dominatrix to add some authentic "sound effects" to the song. They got 'Mistress Simone' to come to the studio to do her stuff to a young sound engineer called Tone who was working on the album with them. Apparantly they told him he wouldn't get a credit on the album unless he did it, so he didn't have much choice in the matter! The sound we hear is, according to Billie Joe, "our engineer Tone taking his first flogging."

It was filmed too. I remember watching some random documentary about Green Day where they showed a few short clips of it happening. The poor bloke looked pretty scared!

Haha, the dangers of working for Green Day :D

Anyway, Blood Sex and Booze wins. Not only is it the best song on Warning in every way, it also features the visual of a certain alluring man tied to a chair :woot:

And the intro is amusing

i was on one of those long rides through the desert on my trip, and that song came on and i had a daydream him naked, tied to a chair, singing the song. i mean, nobody was even there! nothing was happening, he was just there, singing to himself. hahah!

i always wondered which bandmember was being whipped in the intro...
