novacaine_kid Posted November 15, 2006 Share Posted November 15, 2006 im kinda sick of all this are green day punk or not punk business. personally, and this is my own opinion, i dont think they are really a punk band, i think that true punk died a long time ago due to the amount of sub genres around these days. i would say green day are a punk inspired rock band. i dont like to pidgeonhole them into a particular genre, it doesn't matter, they make great music and are always gonna be my favourite band of all time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
