justcause Posted October 22, 2006 Share Posted October 22, 2006 I love this thread.This is my favorite Green Day picture, for many reasons -- it's towards the end of the AI tour- it's at the Bay- I love the sight of rock stars blinking in the light of day - they all look fucking destroyed, lol!- I love what their poses say about each of them - Mike a little more withdrawn than you'd think, Tre in-your-face (and possibly hungover!) Billie Joe made-up, defiant, and looking the camera right in the eye - if squinting somewhat!- I love all the 'boy' photos, but this photo is all of them put together anyway - the men those boys became. jaded fashion victim Posted October 22, 2006 Share Posted October 22, 2006 This is oddly one of my favorite GD pics because it's a study in contrast:- I love the juxtposition of two guys from Oakland walking away from the grand European building. - The strong silhouettes of their black clothing against the white background. - Billie's outfit is boyish while Mike is dressed like an elegant man.- Billie looks like he's lagging behind but trying to talk to Mike. - Mike is hanging back enough to give him an ear yet not looking at him. - It's nice to see them walking not surrounded by other people, the only one missing is Tre! suicidexmakeover Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 this is my favourite posed picture. i like how the heaven-esque sky clashes with the thorn ridden rose i mikes mouth. and theres billie joe in the middle of it all with a smug, guilty looking smile on his face.my favourite live picture would be this one:the symettery in this picture is incrediable. billie joe looks so tiny up against the crowd but the light thats is just shiniing out of him makes him seem bigger than he is. it just represents how i feel about him and how much of a god to me he is.
