I can't believe you guys. Who the fuck are you guys to judge Billie Joe? Seriously!

i hate the fact that you guys all act like you're all better than them. I'm tired of the "he looks like he's on drugs" "he looked awful" "he doesn't even care", why the fuck do you guys have to bitch about who they are. It's fucking annoying. These guys are working on a new album. They don't need to do anything for their fans, nothing at all. They don't owe us anything, and we shouldn't expect or ask for anything in return.

Last night i was trying to ask people (on another board) the jist of what the message was, but all i was getting was how bad Billie's hair looked and it really got to me, i left in the end.

The reason it's annoying is because people have become way too obsessed with what they look like. The really bad part is that most of the complaints come from people who bitch about teenies who only like green day because they're hot.

I agree with Andres for the most part, but in defense of the majority people in this thread, when it's been months since anything interesting has happened in Green Day land, it's hard not to judge a lot about the guys and what's going on with them from the one video they release. They all do look tired and not as made up as usual, but who cares if they're working on some awesome new music!

I'm not asking for the answer to the question or anything, but was one of the Q and As about Blue? I think I saw that somewhere. Did Billie answer where Blue originally came from or something?

what so we cant talk about how they look anymore? i mean fair enough don't start bitching at them because of how they look but billie doesn't look well. maybe poeple are just saying stuff about his apearance because they are worried. i mean, if he is doing drugs its not a good thing is it? and yeah i think they should do stuff for their fans, why the fuck shouldn't they? we have made them who they are, if it wasn't for their fans they wouldn't be where they are today. they wouldn't be succesful and they wouldn't be making their 10th album. i think this whole teenie things is fucking stupid, if we can;t even mention their appearance anymore without being shouted at for liking the band for the wrong reasons. for me it was great to see them again after so long being out fo the spot light, and yes it was nice of them to answer theses questions, but we're fucking paying for it, so in a way they do owe us it, because isiot club memebers have paid for them to do it. it's not as if we are getting it for free. one thing i will say is though, billie doesn't have a big headed attitude in my opinion. he obviously looks tired and worn out so answering questions that he has no ide ahow to answer, like 'who would you be for the day' are going to get tiresome. i think he answered them like he alwasy would have done, fame or no fame.

People ALWAYS talk about celebrities--how they look, what they wear, etc. It's harmless and doesn't deserve getting all bent out of shape over.

I can say I don't like Billie's haircut and still admire and respect his talent and just, all in all, like him. The fact that I am an ENORMOUS fan of Green Day doesn't mean I can't say I don't like the way one of them is wearing his hair, or I don't care for what he wore for some award show, or some other minor criticism.

It in no way diminishes my admiration and appreciation of any and all of them. I think most of us feel the same and recognize how these things work.
