Green Day Q&A Questions 2

Fuzz

Recommended Posts

my picks:

1- Do you have any restrictions as far as what your kids can listen to in terms of your own music? (I'll add to that: or to anyone else's music?)

2- if you could meet any one person in history, no matter what they were known for, who would it be?

3- do any of you have any unusual hidden talents? i mean, like, wiggle your ears,

touch your nose with your tongue...that kind of stuff?

4- if you were a homeless guy, what would your sign say? ( I love this one)

5- What do you think about all of the 11-year-olds that think you're hot and don't know that you're old enough to be their fathers?

I only like #4 from this list. I think we should ask them some goofy questions, because it seems like such a Green Day thing to do.

in the "too be discussed" I like question 2 the most

1 is just, no

3 is iffy, it seems like thats always a question they get asked

Do you visit your fansites often? If so, how often and what do you think of all that stuff about yourselves?

Do you ever listen to your own music?

I like those two.

How did you react when you first read/heard about them?(who ever said this portion of the question should be 86ed, I agree)

1) "What advice would you give to some one who is coping with a loss of their loved one?" there are several reasons why I dont think this should be included, but mainly, It is a question that everyone has opinions on, anyone could be asked this, and it seems like a touchy topic that makes for uncomfortable asnwers.

2) "What are your favorite memories in your rock 'n' roll career?"

I think this is a good question, but I feel it could be improved upon, I am not 100% sure how though, at least, not yet. Any ideas?

3) "If you could tour with any band, past or present, who would it be?"

Again, this question could be improved or changed...it just seems like a blad question that has been asked before...

EDIT: I think that either the third question be replaced by Do you visit your fansites often? If so, how often and what do you think of all that stuff about yourselves?, or it should be added to the questions that need to be discussed.

Alright 30 minutes left. We have 3 solid questions, and 5 in the "maybe" list.

1) "Dookie and American Idiot have been the most popular of all your albums. Do you guys ever feel any pressure in writing (both now and when you did Insomniac) like you have to do something to out-do your previous albums?”

2) "What type of nervous/bad habits do you guys have? Any little antics you have that drive the other guys crazy?"

3) "There has been a lot of rumours going around about Green Day-- whether it's from one of you dying, or you guys breaking up-- which ones do you think are the craziest? How did you react when you first read/heard about them?"

***To be discussed***

1) "What advice would you give to some one who is coping with a loss of their loved one?"

2) "What are your favorite memories in your rock 'n' roll career?"

3) "If you could tour with any band, past or present, who would it be?"

4) Do you visit your fansites often? If so, how often and what do you think of all that stuff about yourselves?

5) Do you ever listen to your own music?

I need each of you leave your opinions.

Yeah, that is a good fear for that question. But there is not much we can do if that is their favorite part of their career.

1) "What advice would you give to some one who is coping with a loss of their loved one?"

2) "What are your favorite memories in your rock 'n' roll career?"

3) "If you could tour with any band, past or present, who would it be?"

1. No, I think that is only directed to Billie and is uncomfortable and just isnt necessary.

2. No how about this instead? What was the most interesting or crazy experience you have had at gig and why? ( I wanted to put memorable but I think they would just say milton keynes)

3. No really not that important, I personally think a fun question like Andres where the fuck did blue come from or some that I mentioned above would be a better choice.

the homeless sign one is cute

its humourous and random, it will fit in with the other serious Q's

I'd say 4 to andres' post

number 5 is good, but as I think about it, they;ll prolly say "of course we do! why wouldnt we? its our music. we write it for ourselves"

well it's something that they can be a little creative on

something they can makeup on their own

I think it would be nice to add a little humour in there

like I said before, it should be serious but yet have a little bit of fan essence to it and a question like that you could expect some crazed up fan to ask lol

picture Green Day sittng there reading the question and as they're reading this one I can imagine they'll laugh a bit and being their goofy selves they'll create some witty funny little saying that represents them.

1) "What advice would you give to some one who is coping with a loss of their loved one?"

I have mentioned in previous posts why I dont think that this question should be included.

2) "What are your favorite memories in your rock 'n' roll career?"

I like this question, as I have said, but still feel it could be altered a bit, Still unsure how.

3) "If you could tour with any band, past or present, who would it be?"

I think this has been asked, and feel our questions should strive to be a little more original than this.

4) Do you visit your fansites often? If so, how often and what do you think of all that stuff about yourselves?

I think this is a good question, especially since we are a fansite.

5) Do you ever listen to your own music?

I want to know the answer to this

The homless one is also a possibility, for my favorites, at least. It seems kind of....well Random, though

Since I think that there are 2 more question spaces left, My favorites are 2 and 4, although five is a VERY close runner-up.

I dont know about the homeless one, i dont see how it fits well at all.

I think its random but if we are going with random I would rather ask about a song like what they say and the end of hitchin a ride or what they say at 3 minute 8 seconds in blood sex and booze yours about blue.

1) "What advice would you give to some one who is coping with a loss of their loved one?"

No see earlier post too directed toward billie too many people could answer, might make him uncomfy

2) "What are your favorite memories in your rock 'n' roll career?"

as mentioned in above post -No how about this instead? What was the most interesting or crazy experience you have had at gig and why? ( I wanted to put memorable but I think they would just say milton keynes)

3) "If you could tour with any band, past or present, who would it be?"

no see earlier post

4) Do you visit your fansites often? If so, how often and what do you think of all that stuff about yourselves?

I really like this one

5) Do you ever listen to your own music?

I also like this one too

Couldn't have put it better myself

I like that question but I'm just scared they'd just say Milton Keynes

"What are your favorite memories in your rock 'n' roll career?"

I still really love this question. I'm trying to think of a way to 'improve' it, but I haven't thought of anything yet. If you guys don't want an answer we'll expect, we could always add "Aside from the American Idiot Tour..." to the beginning of the question. I don't know if that's a good idea... it just popped in my head.

I also like "Do you ever listen to your own music?" and the question about the homeless sign. It's definitely random, but I think it's something they'd have fun answering.

"aside from the american idiot tour" (which I am reluctant about because it kind of sounds like the question is anti-AI)

I think that the question should be at a gig of their own, and one they have been to.

2 and 3 are good 4 is borderline tolerable

1 I dont like- it's a rule of thumb that you dont really ask how parents raise their children

5 I dont like because what is Billie really gonna say? I hate them fuck them or whatever. not very satisfying answers

I'm a parent of a 13 yr old, which is why i picked the question...from one parent to another, i'd like to know their views.

gotta love "borderline tolerable" lol thanks!!!!

erm, with that one, I dont know its iffy

I remember hearing in an interview..or somewhere dont quite remember

Mike said that one time a kid jumped off like a 40 foot high balcony onto the stage to play guitar

I think they said that was the craziest

yeah, I saw that on 100% Green Day.

Suggestion:changing the question from one of their gigs to one they have been to

I dunno, just a thought.
