i would ask billie:

the song, "wake me up when september ends" is about the passing of your father... i was wondering, in the lyrics "like my father's come to pass, 7 years has gone so fast" and then you add "20years has gone so fast" towards the end. does this mean 7years since you started after you got blue at 11yrs and then 20 years since you got blue?

I think the 7 years passing is the amount of years that passed since his dad died (when he was 10) and when they released their first record (when he was 17) so 7 years passed. And then 20 years from 1984 to 2004.(1984 Is when his dad died) I really like the question though.

if he was 30 when he wrote it then his son would be 7 .so 7 years could be since he became a father himself

ooooh I like that

she's right it has to do with he died when he was 7 and its been 20 years since then and it has gone by so fast. not because the time has gone so fast

He wasn't 7 when his father died, dumbass!

Did any of you feel that you were forced to grow up too fast, after the release of Dookie, or did you already feel that you were mature enough after having toured for a few years already?

The song 'Disensitized' is (supposedly) about the internet, but how have your feelings changed towards it now? Do you think it's a vital part of today?

ok that's all i can think of right now..i'm not sure if they've already been answered, though.

or I would askGreen Day,

-In the albums to come, do you think you'll ever go back to the old punk and produce new songs with that style(older punk meaning the songs played on kerplunk) or stick with this newer/more mature sounding type of music(like on American Idiot)?

I think that is a very good question

i got a real good question since they need to get it in their heads

Why do you call yourself punk your not punk anymore with all your new stuff

I'm not sure if I have an exact question, but I definately agree with asking about the 1039/Smooth and Kerplunk albums because everything from AI has pretty much been answered in the past 2 years.

This is sort of a selfish question but I would love to know if they've ever played Andoid live. It's my favorite song and I've never found a recording of it. But that's a dumb one. Any questions about that era would be good I think.

The meaning is 7 yrs after he died the time went by so fast, and 20 yrs after he died also went by so fast --its really not that complicated. Not enought to ask it as one of our 10 questions. :P

I didnt want it as part of the top 10 caus its a waste but i just like to know i thought the song was about more then his father though mainly about his father such as 9/11

Im pretty sure ive watch Android on Youtube but dont qoute me on that

umm no its about his dad

I know its about his father but i read that it has meaing with the war etc.

Most of the songs on AI do have some small reference to war

But yeah i could be wrong

1. Mike, were you ever really worried about the Pantsing Mike Brigade? And did you get the poster we sent you? (for everyone else, yes I know its sad, but its also fun, you're just jealous.)

2. Whats the weirdest thing you can do with your body?

3. Have you ever read any slash fiction about yourselves? What did you think? Do you even know what slash is (other than the guitarist or taking a piss)?

4.

Okay well i guess I'll post the question I've submitted inot the idiot club on numerous occasions.

'When I saw your show at Milton Keynes I was totally overwhelmed when you guys came out onto the stage. To see my favourite band play live was amazing and to hear and see the crowd enjoy every minute of it as much as I did made it the best day of my life. How does it feel for you when you go on stage and kids are singing back every lyirc to you, letting you know they are enjoying every minute of it just as much as you?'

Kirsty, they said that in the dvd...Billie said "it's a feeling I can't even describe"

And I'm pretty sure they would answer the same this time.

I suggest you watch the Making of Wake Me up When Sept Ends, you will find the answer to your question.

ok well obviously if we can figure out or give a few reasons for the lyrics "7 years has gone so fast" and "20 years has gone so fast" then we shouldnt ask it right?

another question could be (to all of them): do you expect your kids grow up kind of like the way you did" but i guess that would be a retarded question because they would say, no they are individuals or no, they've already had to live through our fame, or just something like that....

ugh i cant think of any more questions!!

Here's the thing...we don't want to ask questions that they can answer with the standard:

"It was really cool."

"We love all our fans, no matter what their age."

"We were just happy everyone liked it."

"It made us feel great."

"Our music has different meanings to different people."

"We're glad the music resonated with so many people."

You know, the answers they ALWAYS give. :/ We need to ask questions that require them to put some thought into answering--not just answer with a brief phrase or single sentence. Make them think!!

yes totally, or else they'll think we're retards who cant think of that...

lets not give up this chance by asking questions like

"whats your favorite movie???"
